- Here is an interesting interview with Andy Leach, former Ridler Award winner, on his recent build, a 1930 Ford Model A Coupe. We caught up with Andy at the NSRA 2017 Street Rod Nationals here in Louisville where his car is featured in the Builder's Showcase. This is incredible, possibly the most badass ride I've ever seen
Unbelievable attention to detail. Bravo to this build crew👌
Awesome car. What color is that? I'd like to use it on my my project car. Thanks.
Thank God it doesn't have an LS engine! LOL! Great build. Greatest Model A ever!
Looks great
Incredible work! But "You can't paint drip rails!"? Since when?? I've been painting Model A's etc. with attached drip rails for years, with no issues! It just takes a bit of attention to detail. These are quality custom urethane paint jobs, and not your average body shop respray work.
WOW....
I know where there are all these old engines of the later 50s and 60s. the cars are there too. but the owner wont sell them simply because they are his and he does not want people walking around them. so they just set in the snow and rain and rust and rust.
crazy.
1934 Model A coupe????
Yes and no, needs a full length exhaust tucked in under for the sweet cleaner look, well thats my thoughts.
Well this is an incredible build, but it seems to be a custom car in the form of a hot rod. There is nothing wrong with that, but it's function seems more directed to "show car" than to a driving everywhere vehicle. I suspect that in ten years from now that this car will be in the same immaculate condition and that there will be no trace of patina.
A really fabulous car! I'd like to know more about it but this guy can't speak English very well.
