The thought of retirement makes me cry. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It’s so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings to fall back on.
Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.
I completely agree; I am in my mid 40s, approaching retirement, and have approximately over 2million dollars in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, the Fin-advisor can only be neglected, not rejected. Just do your due diligence to identify a fiduciary one.
I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with Lorrie Greta Hillard for about three years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
Lorrie has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.
What happened 😮? It's November 26, 2024 and we the people haven't seen nothing in our Bank Accounts 😔. Might promises for the people. Stop by making promises for we people.
You get your SS retirement AND disability checks deposited into your accounts on the same Wednesday of every month, based on the date of your birth, and as established when you first set up your retirement account. For instance, if you are born on or after the 21st of the month, like me, your checks will come on the 4th Wednesday of every month, regardless of what calendar date that is. My husband was born on the 22nd of his birthmonth, so his checks come the same day as mine - on the 4th Wednesday of the month. Certainly helps when planning the budget for regular payments to have all of it come together! Your checks - meaning everybody else - will get their checks deposited on the same Wednesday of every month, as based on their birthday - either the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Wednesday of each month. When their accounts were originally set up, that day would have been established, explained, and included on whatever paperwork was sent along in the beginning. Google would be a good source to use if you have questions, or accessing your personal account on the Social Security website. So, it is not affected by the date of the month, since every Wednesday has different dates on most months. It depends strictly on your birthday, which determines which Wednesday your SS Disability or Retirement check will come. Im not completely sure which dates are the cutoffs, for the 2nd Wednesday or the 3rd Wenesday deposits, so I will not speculate here, in order to not make any errors on which ones apply. I also understand that the checks for SSI come at the beginning of the month, but I'm not sure exactly which date or day that is. So, those with questions should reference their Social Security account on the website for clarification. I have been doing this Social Security thing for some time, starting with Disability in 2013, and when I reached full retirement age at 66 and 6 months in 2023, it switched from being Disability to Retirement payments. Didn't change anything else - not the payment amount, or the payment date, just the name, for accounting purposes I surmise. These websites make a big "to do" about telling when these checks should come out, as if some drastic change in the date or the amounts paid out is going to be newsworthy. They generally are not. The only significant changes that any of us can reasonably expect is the first of the year, when the COLA hits, and the premiums for our Medicare Part B and Part D change. Unless the Social Security Administration has contacted you by mail or by telephone to inform you of any change coming due to your next payments, your check amounts should continue as they have been. So, overall there is no change to expect. I think these websites are looking for clicks, and little else.
Everyone Practicly Lies On The Web And Everyone Is Dumb Enough To Be Like "Uhhhh whats Going on here i want to know whats happening" Knowing That All They Do Is Lie To Worie The People All For The Views For Their Videos Of False Infornation They Even Have The Adassity To Say "This Is Whats Really Happening" When They Are Really Full Of Shhh Just Wanting Views Its Fd Up Thats Why I Dont Listen To Crap Like This Cause Its Messed Up All They Do Is Make The People Worie Get Overwhelmed Feel Hopeless.
Thank you Mr. Trump and everybody and Congress.Thank you for it's first seen you snooze it, and that's needed.Thank you so much.Just leave around the holidays and wand live in the last Three 3 years of replacion, no money for the sweetheart and Bells. This is how was payoff? Some Bells and get what we need for the winter.Thank you
I'm gonna get some metal photos.Credit card deaf and get some curtains to save money on my heating.Because I got 4 stay at once.It goes off the house is like a icycle
Nobody is getting screwed out of payments. Relax. Your payment IN December will come on whatever Wednesday of the month of December, (based on your birthday,) it has been coming, and your payment FOR the month of December will come in January, like it always does, since the payments we get are always for the month prior. Nobody has changed any of that, nobody new has been put into office yet who threatens to gut Social Security, which will take a considerable fight to do ANYTHING to it, and President Biden has never said anything about putting our Social Security in danger in any way, only to try and strengthen and protect it. Obviously with the House being the "do nothing 🤡clown show" it has been since last January, (and apparently will remain such,) he was not able to get anything done for us in that respect. The GOP has been chomping at the bit to ruin Social Security since FDR signed it into law in the 30s, and particularly for the last 60 years, especially since Reagan turned it into his private piggy bank in the 1980s. Everything of that nature must get through the House AND the Senate, which is not yet under GOP control, so to get anything beneficial done for us, since they took the House and turned it into a 💩 show, is a losing battle. Anyway, nothing has changed. Stop relying on these bogus websites for actual reliable information on Social Security. They are only looking for clicks, and for whatever bogus reason, to get people upset and 😱 afraid. Don't let them do it. Since I was born on the 21st of my birthmonth, and my husband was born on the 22nd of his, which determines our payment date as the 4th Wednesday of every month, AS IS everyone else's who was born on or after the 20th of their birthmonth, our checks will hit the bank around midnight TONIGHT. It never was due on the 26th, so they got it WRONG!
Nobody is getting screwed out of any payments. Our payment in December is DUE in December, and our payment FOR December is not due until January. They always pay for the prior month, not the current month. The check which is due ON the 4th Wednesday of the month, based strictly on your date of birth, is not due until TOMORROW. The 26th is wrong, no matter what anyone else says. My birthdate is the 21st, and my husband's is the 22nd of his birthmonth. Therefore, our checks come on the 4th Wednesday of every month, irrespective of that date. Other people with birthdays prior to the 20th will get their checks the same Wednesday every month, as determined by that birthdate. People who were born between the 1st and the 11th (I THINK - double check me on that) will get checks on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, and people born on the 12th to the 19th (or the 20th?) Get their checks on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. This is all based on Direct Deposits, or electronic banking. If anyone still has to get a paper check mailed to them, that date of receipt will vary, depending on how the mails run. I seriously think anyone is still getting paper checks anymore, but since I don't know that for 100% surety, I'm only guessing. Anyway - sites like this are only trying to get clicks, by making something that does not apply to almost anyone seem like it's going to apply to everyone. Like a payment amount of this level would only apply to someone who worked full time, making the full amount of Social Security and Medicare tax payments all their working life, unti they decided to finally retire at age 70. Who does that? Who can? That's the only way to collect the maximum payments allowed by Social Security law. And it's definitely not going to be coming to anyone who has already retired on their current earnings record, of at least 40 quarters of work, and is receiving significantly less in monthly payments already. It just doesn't work like that. Definitely do not rely on anything promoted by these kinds of sites, because it's all bogus, and at the very least, filled with long explanations that most people don't have the patience for. If something significant, like a much higher payment amount than you normally expect at the same time every month is coming your way, you would not find out about it on these websites. The Social Security Adminstration would contact you directly by paper mail and have you call them so they can explain what's happening, and answer all your questions. NOT on the internet.
Why do I think you are lying? Because that is all you have done before! If there is money It is to the people that have birthdays at the end of the month. Pure lies !
