HONOR MagicWatch 2 has GPS+Galileo and GT2 has GPS+Glonass, so if you live in Europe the MagicWatch is a better choice to do because the accuracy of GPS+Galileo is far ahead of GPS+Glonass...

Thanks for the interesting comparison! I have a question please since you have one watch connected to iPhone. I have the Huawei GT2 connected to iPhone and noticed that the weather is not updating. I applied all troubleshooting from turning on/off BT, till uninstalling/reinstalling the Huawei Health app. Did you experience you the same issue? Also when I swipe the Huawei Health app up (after double clicking iPhone home button), and re click the app icon again, I always see the watch disconnected though I have all the settings to keep the app running in the background. Any idea what am I missing here? Thanks a lot for coming back to me.
TechMagnet Thanks for coming back on this. For the weather updates I believe I understood the reasoning behind. Huawei Health intervals to update weather is quite too long from my perspective to be honest (once an hour as mentioned in the FAQs in the app) which kind of gives the feeling it is not updating. The swiping thing is what I couldn’t find a solution for and I keep swiping the app up so it immediately stops updating.

Is there a way to use trainings (Running Plans) from Huawei Heatlh App on the watch? I've had the GT2 for 2 months and haven't been able to find how. It's a bit ridiculous, to follow my half marathon training plan I have to carry BOTH my phone and a watch, kinda makes you wonder what's the purpose of the watch if you have to carry the phone... Hello Techmagnet have you tried both watches trying to call on the what but you're using a wireless earbud , will the sound go throu the earbud or the default speaker inside the watch . I did a research on Honor watch and their website said that wireless calls feature doesn't work yet, they said when calling on the watch the sound doesn't produce in the wireless earbud connected but on the default watch speaker. I guess my answer won't be of any help for u anymore, but I looked this up as well before i orderd it but couldn't really find good answers. So in short, got mine today and you're able to control Spotify, but you can't browse your library oder something like that.

the watch gt2 has nfc but it is not active outside china, since huawei and google are not friends anymore no google pay most likely, maybe they will add NFC pairing for headphones, turn nfc on on your mate 30 and press it against watch it will read an empty tag

Must download huawei app gallery and install mobile services ang health app from there, then everything works. On my lg g7 thinq (android 9) both apps downloaded from play store worked fine , so it is android 10 which presents the problem. So when you update your phone to android 10 hope google play store Huawei apps will not have that problem...

Why would the smaller Huawei 42mm have a shorter battery life than the larger 46mm brother with a larger screen? That doesn't make sense. A smaller screen with the same size battery should last longer than the larger screen.
