Thanks man. I have the HDX and GPS-50-2 BIM and though it says all you have to set is the hour (which is true) there were no instructions in either manual on how to do that...at least where I could find. This did the trick!
Hi, im using the rtx system with external rtx clock and 50-2 bim module. The module give the time but i need to correct the tims zone for europe. Shows 1 hours to late. Is it possible to chance something on the menu of the gps 50-2 module ? Thanks dor answer
@@m.bender9632 I have the same issue any time I remove the battery from my Chevelle. The clock is an hour off. And it doesn't adjust for daylight savings or standard time here in the US either. Strange.
@@m.bender9632 I also have no idea why it can't figure all of this out from the GPS and a menu option for timezone...seems this should be a standard feature that is lacking.
Whats about the setup menu of the 50-2 bim…. There is a position -c- and -cl- shows 1-16 and Off its called „set clock ID“ ? Bitvinthink when youbrwmove the battery a longer time, it will be delete too
What about the system differentiating between night and day? How do we set the night settings to come on at a certain time? How does night and day work factory setting wise?
When I start the car the illumination doesn’t start up automatically… I set day and night settings but how does the system know if there’s no differentiating 12am/12pm is just 1-12
