    As a faithful watcher of your videos, and a mechanical engineer, ( Michigan State graduate,retired GM employee)
    I must say your depth of knowledge and expertise in all forms diagnosis, fabricating and repair of myriad types of machinery farm and otherwise highly impresses me!
    And the fact that you are teaching your son and your sisters ? Son the ins and outs of not only farming but how to keep all the equipment in repair ! Is very commendable,keep up the good work ,and keep those videos coming
    Thank You!

      SuperDd40 For big bales it definitely seems like krone is the way to go, “idiot blocks” seems to be Freeman, they’re built extremely heavy from the nuts and bolts to the plunger.

      I believe it was only three. In addition, any work down outside the warranty program comes out of his pocket. Also it is different this year because he has to ship them down south early. Messicks probably could squeeze him in in such short notice and work on his machine for 2 weeks.

    Need to buy a few more metric wrenches Wes. Hate those knuckle busters except for emergency situations. With the amount you have spent on parts and effort to maintain do yourself a favor and get the right tools. Lots of good reliable options out there without having to break the bank. Looking good!

    • @LittleWapiti
      @LittleWapiti 5 років тому +1

      Since you have to wait on parts anyway, pickup a set of large metric sockets while your on your parts run. (Repairs probably done by the time we see this, but they would be good for the next time you work on the Krone)

I have repaired dampener pulleys on wallowed out truck crank shafts. Used on mower drive pulley once and never could get pulley off even with torch. First time I was introduced to JB WELD a friend showed me a Kubota exhaust manifold that he fixed a crack 5 years ago. Before that he said every year he replaced cracked manifolds with new........
