Agreed, 1000%. Only the Holy Spirit could beat us and help us endure to do what is truly the right thing which would be what’s good, not just for myself but for everyone involved. Otherwise it’s just, “follow your heart“, follow your bliss and all that which can lead to Folly and just taking the path of least resistance. And bailing whenever it’s convenient.
Yes I did this exercise a few months back. I asked my future self what to do about my relationship. My future self was so wise she told me to not see my husband as obstacle and see him as my best friend that he truly wants the best for me and our family. He might not use the right wording sometime but that’s why we have each other because I sweeten him up and he makes me tougher. ❤️

- When we are in situations where we don't know what to choose, we're used to looking externally for answers (calling friends, hiring experts, reading books, watching content) but we forget that we have an internal well of wisdom already available inside us
- To find clarity from inside out:
1. Tap with your higher, wiser, future self
• Close your eyes and put your hand on your heart
• Ask yourself:
What do you really know about this situation?
What do I need to know and understand?
What's my next move?
• Answers usually come in sensation (lightness/dread, fun and easy/difficult)
• Yout voice when you tap into your higher self is not harsh and it is always kind
2. Guided Writing
• Meditate for 20mins to let the chatter in your mind to slow down and access a different part of yourself
• Tap into your higher self, ask the same questions above, and write all your answers.
• Don't judge your writing, just continue writing.
• When you reach a stopping point but don't feel satisfied with the answer yet, ask "what else do I need to know about...?"

I started Michael Sandler's course a week ago and by day two my mind was blown. I do think having had strong meditation and somatic practices does help soften the ground.

Perfect Timing! I'm dealing with a situation of working on my goals of drum wellness group working with seniors and had to put a pause because lately had setbacks, from health (once going to hospital), and car repairs. I didn't know if this was a sign to pause until end of August, or if it was a sign to facing challenges and push through them. I sat and meditated asking Universe to let me know what I should do....your video and another motivational person came up in my recommendations saying the same message. Take care of myself to be of good use to others. 😁

Wow. I’ve been trying to get clarity on the next step for my business because I’ve been feeling very frustrated with not seeing much results in 5 years of doing it. I did the writing exercise and my higher self told me that I’ll find clarity once I get my life together first. That my business is a mess because I’m a mess. That I need to detach from it. I care too much about it. That I need to first focus on my health because it’s deteriorating and focus on being a mom and making the house a home. That’s all I got. So then I wanted more and asked for more. Higher self told me that she isn’t giving me more until I work on my mindset for 2 weeks and take a camping vacation that I’ve been saying no to for awhile. That the answers will be waiting for me when I get back. 🤣

Marie Marie Marie!!! Had no idea this just dropped in the last day - was right on time!!! OMG 😱- the clarity, calm, and peace after meditating and journaling from the POV of my higher, wiser self.
I gained clarity and insights that were FAR BEYOND anything my mind or heart had to say from my current vantage point. I was totally drained from all the internal confusion. I’m so glad I did this. I’m feeling energized again. 🤩 I can not thank you enough!!! Will definitely use again and will share these techniques!

The first one sounds really good and it makes a lot of sense but it can also lead us to bail anytime a situation gets hard, especially in committed situation. It seems more “follow your heart“, when sometimes the right thing to do is to do the hard thing, to do the work, to endure, to self sacrifice for the better good of your loved ones. Etc. For me, that hire wise yourself actually the Holy Spirit and it’s never going to tell me to abandon someone just because it’s inconvenient or dreadful for me. But if I don’t have that external guidance, then it’s easy to think I should just do what feels good and is the path of least resistance for me. I don’t think that’s the answer. I would really have to rely on the Holy Spirit and on the strength that Jesus gives me walking beside me to carry out the hard things, the uncomfortable things.

About method number two, of course something can write for you. After all, we are much more than the physical body and what we can seeing. The question is, what is writing for you? What is influencing you? The Bible says our hearts are deceitful above all else. Even when I spend time with God, I have to be careful I’m not deceiving myself and telling myself what I want to hear and labeling it God, or the Holy Spirit, or my higher self. I have to consider, who am I appealing to, truly? In whose interest?

I hope this doesn't get deleted. Just my opinion. You don't know your future self, you can just speculate. So the literal interpretation is not a possibility. So, essentially, the only thing I can think of is to Image ourselves without any emotional blocks, so we can tap into that wisdom, that is mentioned in the video. But why would you do that? To gain something? Trying to gain something is rooted in fear, which is exactly what prevents you from being unconditionally free, thereby accessing your whole knowledge. This will be deleted, I'm sure of it.
