Nothing stops a jig like a big blue.

did you purposely put the stern into the rolls of waves so you wouldn't take it broadside?

I do when the rip is full bore and we have a lot of people on board. I can keep the boat from going fully into it and everyone has a much more enjoyable day.

@@nextdriftfishing so when you do that, do you make the guys on each side from the stern cast out so the lines don't tangle? also is that the luhrs you where fishing on that day, kind of looks like it with that stern shape. thanks. always a fan

@@user-dc9bq1nn9n so when we're diamond jigging there at a fast rip we're using 14 to 16 oz jigs so by keeping the boat in gear we can virtually eliminate any tangles or crossed lines. The fish don't care about the boat noise so I try to use that to our advantage. I use the engine, prop, and rudder to keep the boat straight. And yes, that is the Lurhs

@@nextdriftfishing thank you for the reply and always answering my questions. Its great to have such a nice crew on the boat as you have. that spot looks like a boater can get in trouble quick if they don't know what they are doing. what part of the tide is best to jig there without getting rock about to much?
