The original actors do not look how the characters look now, meaning that the scanning of their faces would not fit what was set. They look older, decades older to be precise. Their armor saved them. But Douglas wasn't so lucky because he got targeted. His helmet got destroyed, s I it was replaced Along with a serious improvement to his armor to match that of mark 6.
The fight didn't make much sense, how can 3 Spartan II's destroy a group of elites in the first Halo wars game and Jermoe by himself annihilate a group of brutes and elites in a later cutscene in Halo Wars 2 but the 3 of them couldn't even handle Atriox, One brute.
Cutscenes are great, the gameplay is not. Also, it's strange seeing The Spirit of Fire coming back to life, it's like time traveling back to 2009. Also in case, anyone doesn't know, the Spartan II's that are still alive are 47 years old. When Red team and the Spirit of fire went to cryo sleep, Red team was only 19 years old.
@@lv7_p1kachu you're right. When you go in cryosleep, you're basically sleeping on ice. And when you sleep on ice, you can never age no matter how long you sleep. So, since Red team fell in cryosleep at 19, and slept for 28 years, they are technically still 19.
Can't help but think that unlike the first Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2 kinda seemed to contradict all canon Halo Lores as seen in Halo 3. Unless, someone would point out where in hell Master Chief, Arbiter, and Pillar of Autumn were during the conflict... - if it before Halo 3, the Halo Ring shouldn't be as nearly as available to use - if it after Halo 3... well, there are 2 Arks then, since the one in Halo 3 was in pieces However either way, this video is way amazing!
Halo Wars 2 take place in 2559, 7 years after events of Halo 3 and few months after Halo 5... Master Chief, Arbiter and UNSC Infinity are all on Sangelios, Elites' homeworld, with Galaxy being in middle of AI takeover crisis. UNSC Pillar of Autumn is space dust for 7 years already after being blew up on first discovered Halo. Ark itself was only damaged by Halo 3 events, not destroyed. Forerunners' Sentinels and other constructs were able to fully rebuilt the Ark during that time. No contradictions here.
The ark was never destroyed, even cortana said the premature firing of the halo (aka Installation 4b/08) did a number on the ark, meaning it was heavily damaged But it has been repaired since then due to the arks sentinels and constructors with resources taken from barren worlds through the use of the portal at voi
This game disappointed me with it’s super lack luster story all in an effort to set up a sequel? Halo 6? Halo wars one had a self contained story with a beginning, middle, and an end. This does not have an ending. Literally nothing is resolved and no story dlc besides awakening the nightmare which was meh has been announced. I hate 343 so much and what they have done to halo.
its tough. I get what you're saying but if they made every game a single self contained story then all you would get is a series "flavor of the week" villains, like its a cheap episodic kids show or something. Having story continue on throughout several games and sequels allowed for a deeper more fleshed out story, and fans want to be able to invest more deeply these days.

Isabell. The only AI in the Halo franchise to get the revenge she deserves.
Also. What's with the humans in the Halo universe designing their personality constructs to have emotions? Have they not seen any science fiction movie from 1970 - 2021. AI's that can think and feel like humans are a bad idea!
Man this game wold have been a good mobile game just like xcom man i wish to play this but im poor as fuck
hulk buster
Still wondering how spartan red team even survived getting a beatdown by Atriox
Their armor saved them. But Douglas wasn't so lucky because he got targeted. His helmet got destroyed, s I it was replaced Along with a serious improvement to his armor to match that of mark 6.
@@debbiebernhardt5406 they should've all died if Atriox didn't just let them escape when he was RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM
The fight didn't make much sense, how can 3 Spartan II's destroy a group of elites in the first Halo wars game and Jermoe by himself annihilate a group of brutes and elites in a later cutscene in Halo Wars 2 but the 3 of them couldn't even handle Atriox, One brute.
@@WaveForceful Easy answer: Main Villain Plot Armor.
Technically, yes. However, these Spartans were in cryosleep for about 28 years, meaning they are still technically 19.
@@lv7_p1kachu you're right. When you go in cryosleep, you're basically sleeping on ice. And when you sleep on ice, you can never age no matter how long you sleep. So, since Red team fell in cryosleep at 19, and slept for 28 years, they are technically still 19.
@@Mohammed-yt7tc Gameplay isn't good? Dude did you even play the game? It's solid af
Only good thing about halo is the cinemas between the gameplay.
Hazyj peepme It’s not just the cutscenes that make it good.
Can't help but think that unlike the first Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2 kinda seemed to contradict all canon Halo Lores as seen in Halo 3. Unless, someone would point out where in hell Master Chief, Arbiter, and Pillar of Autumn were during the conflict...
- if it before Halo 3, the Halo Ring shouldn't be as nearly as available to use
- if it after Halo 3... well, there are 2 Arks then, since the one in Halo 3 was in pieces
However either way, this video is way amazing!
Matsuhiko Takagawa No contradictions.
Even if the first ark had been destroyed, there actually are two arks lmao.
The ark was never destroyed, even cortana said the premature firing of the halo (aka Installation 4b/08) did a number on the ark, meaning it was heavily damaged
But it has been repaired since then due to the arks sentinels and constructors with resources taken from barren worlds through the use of the portal at voi
@@forgilageord there is only 1 ark, there used to be a bigger ark for but that was destroyed by the flood during the height of their power
28 YEARS? So this Ai didn't go rampant? Plot's gonna plot i guess.
oh wait i shoulda just waited literally 10 seconds.
what is this 15 fps bullshit
@The Gent lmao I have 14 3080s and 6 3080Tis. My rig is not shit
The only good thing about halo wars is it is a rts halo ....and the cutscenes are fantastically made....everything else just looks horrible
So... The game was good then?
This game disappointed me with it’s super lack luster story all in an effort to set up a sequel? Halo 6? Halo wars one had a self contained story with a beginning, middle, and an end. This does not have an ending. Literally nothing is resolved and no story dlc besides awakening the nightmare which was meh has been announced. I hate 343 so much and what they have done to halo.
Ok, angry kid, ok.
BlackPantherFTW so you want the new huge faction to just die in one game? Stupid lol just another blind 343 hater and im not a fanboy fyi
