With only a little bit of an awesome electric guitar and his/her/their voice??!! But also the weight and message, and in combination with an awesome Goodbye Angels and Give It Away, it's so good!!
I'm glad Josh's equipment worked during Sikamikanico. A song that really expressed his love of the band and their history. He played through like a true performer despite technical difficulties.

Keo Hey It’s a big IF. Also, based on interviews I believe Josh always knew that it John wanted back, it was his right. Don’t feel bad for Josh. He’s made millions and gotten a fan base by joining a band and playing another man’s music for 10 years. He’s starting to explore his solo wrk again. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful that Josh kept the band together but the last 10 years have seen 2 mediocre records and a guitarist who’s learning on the job. John being back is fantastic news and I’m over the moon! He inspired me to play guitar. Californication was my first album when I was 14.
That whole album was so underrated at that time... Listen to that album now... and wow just awesome... I wish they would open the show with 'Deep Kick' intro over the loud speakers, then bam into that song...and then just role into 'Higher Ground'...

It's actually pretty insane how well josh can bounce back from all those technical issues. The only thing I wish he did different would be to lose the fuzz and distortion on his soloing, but that's just me missing john 😭. In any case, I love josh and I would like to hear the notes better when he solos
@@jorge.az07true but Josh tends to hide a lot of playing behind reverb, delay, wahs, and of course lots of fuzz. Honestly don't know why because most if not all of his solos past 2013 have been excellent and when you transcribe them and play them straight with a cleaner tone it sounds as good as Frusciante. Really he should have been confident in his ability because he was excellent.
I have just now realised that the skull with the helmet on sticker on Flea's bass, is the Tye Trujillo's (son of Robert Trujillo) band. That just made that bass looks even cooler

Not 100% sure, but could look like the wireless pack died on him, or the receiver. Hence why he kept changing guitars which all have different wireless packs. That or some sort of signal disruption, but can't say for sure.
@@Xlastsuspectx That's likely what happened. For some reason the biggest tech problems always happen at these huge festivals. John had the exact same problem in Rock In Rio 2001, his rig kept failing him throughout the whole show.

Damn so many guitar problems first 20 minutes...first seemed wha broke up second song, then no sinal at all.. Anyway FLEA is the guy! One of the greatest creators of music of the last thirty /forty years still rocking!!! No doubr one of the greatest bands still Rocking!!
His voice was gone. Probably sick or drunk (it was his birthday). His guitar rig was also super fucked up especially in the beginning. For an example his whole guitar died in the intro of Dark Necessities, and he smashed it to the ground after that.
I can't deal with the fact that Josh was the best thing ever happened to the Peppers, i love Frusciante but FCK this set list is kickass current Peppers shows are lame ass fck:(
