you gotta start actually trying to control the recoil during your recoil tests. when trying to control the recoil onn this gun it is super jumpy and that strait line recoil when you're just letting it fly is very misleasding. I've done my own tests and the recoil is actually very strange and makes the gun very innacurate compared to other weapons imo
@@bumblebeeman2103 What you're talking about is visual recoil. These wall tests are not misleading at all. They show the impact of recoil between shots, but does not show the recoil while shooting. Testing based on feel is not very scientific and is not how these things should be measured, though it might be good to note so the user is aware of this visual downside.

Considering how we have zero information on the next CoD, don't be waiting. Modern Warfare changed everything, this single game has made more already than several CoD titles have in their entire lifetimes... put together. We are about to enter a new age for CoD, expect even the yearly release to be changed.
The only thing I don't like about this gun is that it pretty much outclasses the AK (unless you use 5x45 rounds or at long range). Hopefully they buff the AK's recoil back before the nerf it got in S2.
The AKs mobility is also pretty frickin bad, so if you lean towards attachments for said mobility boosts, you simply lose a lot of accuracy. The AMAX is basically the AK we should’ve had from the start, pretty sad.
The Galil is tuned exactly how the AK should have been originally. It never made any sense for the AK to have great long range damage with a recoil pattern that made it basically unusable beyond 30 or so yards. The only viable AK warzone build was to try and turn the AK into an RPK, at which point you'd be better off just using the superior PKM. The balance changes coming mid season need to include an AK 47 retune. They could literally give it the same damage/range values as the Galil with a different recoil pattern and people would use it.
They also fucked up the first three rounds. Go into game and tap for 3 bullets. 1 bullet almost always flies completely off to the right. Ive got Obsidian AK and all the Masteries done since like, day 4 into the season ? I dont know why they keep messing up the AK. Also pretty sure they nerfed the AKs bullet velocity globally in S4.

Infinityward games have always had the worst weapon balancing. CoD4 had the M16, MW2 had the UMP45, MW3 had assasin pro, Infinite Warfare had the NV4 Flatline. What makes MW any different?

I like this gun mostly because it’s something different from my usual rotation. I need that spice in my life man! I’m tired of having to sweat to keep up with the sweats.
It’s honestly a sweat gun tbh, it has a decent ads time, a 3 shot kill, good range with like no recoil, and a faster fire rate than the scar or ak. This pretty much dominates medium to long range now and it can even be good at cqc

For the M67 rounds, they actually count as AR rounds in Warzone. Definitely run them on this rifle since sniper ammo is much less common if you run the SKS or EBR.
Honestly, this is what the base AK should have been, imo. This shoots faster, has less recoil, and handles better than the AK. It's just about an all around upgrade to the base AK. The only way the AK could be better is with 5.54 rounds, but I find that I either have similar recoil to the Galil, or I have similar handling. Never both.
The thing about the 10 round mags for the galil is that in warzone it will still use AR ammo unlike the SKS that uses the less common and less total capacity sniper ammo.
Still with a 10 round mag you’re lucky if you even drop 1 enemy before you have to reload, let alone finish him off. Depends on the distance of course, but if you’re up close you might as well just use the standard ammo type or a different gun anyway. Imo neither DMRs or the AMAX with 10 round mags are worth using in BR, I do like using the SKS in Plunder though.
Voor Achter Unless you have the 5.45x39mm ammo conversion. That makes the AK better than the Galil. The Galil has a 186 ms ttk while the 5.45x39mm AK has a 181 ms ttk.

I started to really like this gun it's nice to drop people that use the grau and show them that their bang average, let's be honest if you use the grau you are terribke and the guns getting a nerf soon as well so happy days it'll just prove how bang average they are
This weapon's stats really highlights the impressive damage of the AK 47. With the AK, a single chest hit at any range will permit a 3 shot kill even if the other 2 are limb hits, not to mention a 51 damage headshot at any range. With the right attachments, i find the AK recoil easier to manage.
I had a similar issue, the recoil on the cr is pretty bad considering the fire rate as will, try kitting with full recoil control the ads is not that bad and it turns into a laser beam. Compensator, rubber grip, zodiac, and merc forgrip its all or nothing lol

Moriyama Miyako ... why would they buff the damage on one of the highest damage full auto guns in game? Being a socom fanatic, I’m definitely in agreement that it could use a mag size buff but that’s really it. It 3 shots anywhere to the body at any range, and has very little to no recoil. I run 12.4” predator, socom mags, commando foregrip, sleight of hand and no stock and end up with faster ads/handling than any competitive AR setup, better damage at range and a gun that can 2 shot with just a single headshot thrown into the mix. If they buffed damage it’d be even more broken than it already is.
@Moriyama Miyako no because it would be way too op in warzone. Socom rounds right now are very strong. Mix it with stopping power and it's the best weapon in call of duty history. So by buffing it to 15 or 20 bullets and buffing it's damage and range would make it way too overpowered.
Love your videos. The only thing that I wish you would do, is when you do an example class, could you show the recoil pattern, and the ads speed so we know how all the attachments combined change the stats.
Visual kick makes iron sight unplayable on this gun, often you won't be able to do needed micro adjustments and even fail to notice enemy going prone fast enough. Dotted sight is not much better because it is hard to see the dot due to visual kick. A holo sight is a must on this gun, e.g: corp combat or 4.0, no matter how strong visual kick is, you can still clearly see the crosshair and align it with opponent. And if you unlock less obstruction reticle, it's even better. I played a lot with this gun and I could feel massive difference on switching to holo, accuracy and consistency improved by a lot.
Grau is better if you're a worse player because it's more forgiving with no recoil, but if you're confident in hitting your shots the higher damage ARs will beat it every time because of a lower ttk. Only trouble I have with the grau is in warzone when you get lasered from across the map.

Agreed the 210 ammo pool negates all the DMRs. The ability to poke out other teams is just too good. I'm trying to convince all my friends they need to unlock and get gud with it because a whole team of these focusing targets is scary
I hardly use meta guns i like to have fun sniping but using this gun is not fair for my enemies. It is stupid how fast it drops its about the same speed as a kar98 quick scope

@Dallas True, I typically see that as one when playing standard multiplayer as leading shots in there is never really an issue. I can see it being a Ground War problem but I wouldn't think to use this barrel there anyway. And still, the recoil increase of a short barrel makes it have 3 detriments compared to 2 advantages so same difference from your point of view in my opinion.

It works best as a long range dmr in my experience. And with the Exo stock, u can strafe 17% faster and evade shots, not to mention the 3% movement speed u get for the 10 round mag.
@@nathanielyoungman4454 from what I've seen from Ace, Driftr and Jgod, aiming stability is a waste of an attachment. I never use any attachments that have that and my aiming is still pretty stable. Not that it matters, u can hold ur breath, but I don't even use that on this setup. It's really not needed. Try it out, I promise u won't regret it mate!
Nathaniel Youngman it’s much easier to line up the headshots on moving targets with the increased bullet velocity from the zodiac barrel, though if you don’t care for a barrel, the tac laser may be better, gives ads and stability, since you don’t really want to reduce your range.

I used to use SCAR and I loved it, then I changed to Oden and loved it even more (still my favourite weapon), now I'm playing the AK and I'm having a lot of fun. I can't wait to try out the AMAX and I don't think I'll soon be changing to 5.56, I just love the feeling of power that comes with higher calibres.
I dunno. I too was thinking this watching the video, but would then setting up your gun become a dry maths exercise, creeping into RPG territory. I think it's maybe best that you have to try out the different attachments and see how they feel.
In the beta didn’t they used to have multiple + signs if it was a bigger increase. For example tactical suppressor would say - for ADs but monolithic suppressor would say - - for ads.
@@CrazyOldCatManCode Personally, this would be a worse solution in choosing weapons and attachments because it would end up with me finding one attachment/gun I like, and not wanting to try something else. It helps with some stats to go off of when picking your loadout, espesially when you can save some/a lot of time while doing so. And also, it can give a clearer understanding in how the attachments/weapons work, instead of relying on personal testing.
this gun is honestly really problematic. it bests *every single 7.62 gun* in the game, even the dmr's with the semi auto conversion! everyone stopped using vectors for this gun, it even bests it up close. it's truly the best gun in the game right now, and it's starting to get annoying having to die to it on repeat
I don't get why IW adds guns that completely nullify other guns. The MP5 beats pretty much every other smgs. And now we got the Amax that nullifys all the heavy hitting ARs. They can't figure out balancing.
I disagree, even though it is very good, it changes the meta by a lot. Ive been seeing less M4s and MP5s and more of the galil. If they really wanted to change the meta, they would nerf the M4 & MP5
Definitely has the potential to be the new meta gun after the upcomming Grau nerf. It shreds at longer distances in Warzone and you can definitely feel the additional power you get over something like the Grau or M4.
It’s a very beautiful modernized version of it although the classic Galil is great, too. I don’t doubt that we might see it in a form of a blueprint because I’m sure IW is aware of all the players who loved the Galil back in the original Black Ops.
I honestly wish they would add more assault rifles that werent just direct upgrades to existing guns. i want more guns that feel different and have a place in the game. so far there have only been a few, the vector, holger, crossbow, the rouge 9 and the ump.

I personally use the 8.3" barrel because I really like the iron sights. You can still map people, especially if you mount, but i do run Merc Foregrip when i use it, taking up an extra attachment slot.
just a heads up, in the barrel comparison part the base barrel and last barrel graphic are the same where the last barrel is stated to have a 10% reduction
I was expecting more..... It is the best damage per shot weapon, however it's not that great of a tread off "reward" in comparison to high rate of fire. What happened to old Cod days high risk high reward. Fast fire full auto is the best with almost no drawbacks. Back to weapon, really disappointed at the punishment of that long range barrel. We will still see more of the other 5.56 ammo weapons.
If you mix the longer barrel with the stippled wrap and the exo stock, it's a beast. Those two attachments more than make up for the reduction in speed and then you get improved recoil and range. I use those three attachments along with the 5mw laser and the apx5 Holo sight. It's very well rounded like this and can handle pretty much every situation. I LOVE this gun.
2-shot headshot for kill, super low recoil, higher rate of fire compared to comparable AR's... Alfred, bring me my Nerf-hammer! I swear, every new gun introduced to MW is OP until most of the community gets it, and then IW nerfs it.

This weapon is much more comparable to the AK with the 5.45 conversion than the standard AK-47. I would call this analogous to the Grau and M4 relationship.
Class setup for public matches that competes with the M4: Zodiac barrel, compensator, no stock, stippled wrap, commando grip (can be swapped for tac laser for even faster ADS, or for extended mags if you need em)
Man I haven’t played this season enough, I think I’m getting the burn out and here’s the kicker I bought the cod points for the season pass and I have yet to get into the double digits because I have barely touched CoD in a month lol
mono, zodiac, ranger grip, holo corp or 4.0x, tac or mw5. Ranger seem to work better than commando for this gun. Holo sight completely solves visual recoil problem, with dotted sight or iron sight you will be very inconsistent. Tac will give ads + stability, stability in particular is good at very long ranges. mw5 removes 79ms tactical sprint to fire making the gun more versatile at closer ranges. Being able to shoot sooner, out of sprint or when jumping corner is a massive benefit. Also, don't put stippled over mw5 on this gun, it punishes stability, which you need for long range fights, it is a closer range attachment. And if you don't care about being silent, replace mono with compensator, it decreases recoil by 28%
i dont even remember those gw maps you showcase here lol. They removed so many maps since launch and now it feels like you only play on verdansk riverside...
I have a feeling this gun is going to get a nerf sooner rather than later. It uses the same ammo type as the conversion kit on the AK-47 but does higher damage and has better range? Really? Plus it’s 3 shot kill range is comparable to an LMG rather than an AR. It’s fire rate is faster than both of the 7.62 ammo guns and has better handling traits. So what’s the point of using the SCAR or the AK anymore. Hell what’s the point of using the Grau or the M4 as this new gun completely owns both of them. I can’t see this gun being this powerful for too long. I sense a nerf coming. It’s in OP territory.
JR R Slap a compensator on the muzzle and a commando foregrip and your set. Works on pretty much every primary, especially ARs and SMGs. At least that’s what I find.
Danny Wynn I think the CR-56 has a some recoil to the left, like a curve. The commando should help with that. I tested every recoil foregrip and muzzle combination and the compensator and the commando grip offered the best results. The first 3 rounds are almost right next to each other

The thing about the 10 round mags for the galil is that in warzone it will still use AR ammo unlike the SKS that uses the less common and less total capacity sniper ammo.
And it's NASTY at almost any range if you're hitting headshots... I'm huge fan of the AMAX.
And its noob friendly fire rate cap
Still with a 10 round mag you’re lucky if you even drop 1 enemy before you have to reload, let alone finish him off. Depends on the distance of course, but if you’re up close you might as well just use the standard ammo type or a different gun anyway. Imo neither DMRs or the AMAX with 10 round mags are worth using in BR, I do like using the SKS in Plunder though.

Voor Achter Unless you have the 5.45x39mm ammo conversion. That makes the AK better than the Galil. The Galil has a 186 ms ttk while the 5.45x39mm AK has a 181 ms ttk.

I think the reason others are using it is because it's a new weapon. I'm sure in S5 and S6 it'll be more common than the AK, but not by much.

This weapon's stats really highlights the impressive damage of the AK 47. With the AK, a single chest hit at any range will permit a 3 shot kill even if the other 2 are limb hits, not to mention a 51 damage headshot at any range. With the right attachments, i find the AK recoil easier to manage.
the ak is good if you start at the belly and the bullets walk up to head with the recoil
I had a similar issue, the recoil on the cr is pretty bad considering the fire rate as will, try kitting with full recoil control the ads is not that bad and it turns into a laser beam. Compensator, rubber grip, zodiac, and merc forgrip its all or nothing lol

Moriyama Miyako ... why would they buff the damage on one of the highest damage full auto guns in game? Being a socom fanatic, I’m definitely in agreement that it could use a mag size buff but that’s really it. It 3 shots anywhere to the body at any range, and has very little to no recoil. I run 12.4” predator, socom mags, commando foregrip, sleight of hand and no stock and end up with faster ads/handling than any competitive AR setup, better damage at range and a gun that can 2 shot with just a single headshot thrown into the mix. If they buffed damage it’d be even more broken than it already is.
@Moriyama Miyako no because it would be way too op in warzone. Socom rounds right now are very strong. Mix it with stopping power and it's the best weapon in call of duty history. So by buffing it to 15 or 20 bullets and buffing it's damage and range would make it way too overpowered.

As far as the real kickers go, I always just go with the AK or the Galil. Never been a big fan of the Oden to be honest. Not that it’s bad though.

Visual kick makes iron sight unplayable on this gun, often you won't be able to do needed micro adjustments and even fail to notice enemy going prone fast enough. Dotted sight is not much better because it is hard to see the dot due to visual kick. A holo sight is a must on this gun, e.g: corp combat or 4.0, no matter how strong visual kick is, you can still clearly see the crosshair and align it with opponent. And if you unlock less obstruction reticle, it's even better. I played a lot with this gun and I could feel massive difference on switching to holo, accuracy and consistency improved by a lot.

I already think it’s better. The grau gets beaten out close to mid range to the m4. This gun does not.
Grau is better if you're a worse player because it's more forgiving with no recoil, but if you're confident in hitting your shots the higher damage ARs will beat it every time because of a lower ttk.
Only trouble I have with the grau is in warzone when you get lasered from across the map.
Faster ttk and similar range. If you've got decent accuracy it's already better

Agreed the 210 ammo pool negates all the DMRs. The ability to poke out other teams is just too good. I'm trying to convince all my friends they need to unlock and get gud with it because a whole team of these focusing targets is scary
The AMAX's ammo counts as AR ammo in Warzone too, so it even obsoletes the SKS and EBR in terms of ammo capacity.

@Dallas True, I typically see that as one when playing standard multiplayer as leading shots in there is never really an issue. I can see it being a Ground War problem but I wouldn't think to use this barrel there anyway. And still, the recoil increase of a short barrel makes it have 3 detriments compared to 2 advantages so same difference from your point of view in my opinion.

@@CZProductions I feel that, but I use it as a sniper basically, and i tried it with vlk sight but imo if ur using it that close, u might as well use the fully auto. It works best as a long range dmr in my experience. And with the Exo stock, u can strafe 17% faster and evade shots, not to mention the 3% movement speed u get for the 10 round mag.

@@nathanielyoungman4454 from what I've seen from Ace, Driftr and Jgod, aiming stability is a waste of an attachment. I never use any attachments that have that and my aiming is still pretty stable. Not that it matters, u can hold ur breath, but I don't even use that on this setup. It's really not needed. Try it out, I promise u won't regret it mate!
Nathaniel Youngman it’s much easier to line up the headshots on moving targets with the increased bullet velocity from the zodiac barrel, though if you don’t care for a barrel, the tac laser may be better, gives ads and stability, since you don’t really want to reduce your range.

I used to use SCAR and I loved it, then I changed to Oden and loved it even more (still my favourite weapon), now I'm playing the AK and I'm having a lot of fun. I can't wait to try out the AMAX and I don't think I'll soon be changing to 5.56, I just love the feeling of power that comes with higher calibres.
I haven't touched the AMAX yet, but when I get gold and platinum on all SMGs I'll get to it.

I dunno. I too was thinking this watching the video, but would then setting up your gun become a dry maths exercise, creeping into RPG territory. I think it's maybe best that you have to try out the different attachments and see how they feel.
In the beta didn’t they used to have multiple + signs if it was a bigger increase. For example tactical suppressor would say - for ADs but monolithic suppressor would say - - for ads.
@@CrazyOldCatManCode Personally, this would be a worse solution in choosing weapons and attachments because it would end up with me finding one attachment/gun I like, and not wanting to try something else.
It helps with some stats to go off of when picking your loadout, espesially when you can save some/a lot of time while doing so. And also, it can give a clearer understanding in how the attachments/weapons work, instead of relying on personal testing.

this gun is honestly really problematic. it bests *every single 7.62 gun* in the game, even the dmr's with the semi auto conversion! everyone stopped using vectors for this gun, it even bests it up close. it's truly the best gun in the game right now, and it's starting to get annoying having to die to it on repeat
I don't get why IW adds guns that completely nullify other guns. The MP5 beats pretty much every other smgs. And now we got the Amax that nullifys all the heavy hitting ARs. They can't figure out balancing.
I disagree, even though it is very good, it changes the meta by a lot. Ive been seeing less M4s and MP5s and more of the galil. If they really wanted to change the meta, they would nerf the M4 & MP5

Definitely has the potential to be the new meta gun after the upcomming Grau nerf. It shreds at longer distances in Warzone and you can definitely feel the additional power you get over something like the Grau or M4.

It’s a very beautiful modernized version of it although the classic Galil is great, too. I don’t doubt that we might see it in a form of a blueprint because I’m sure IW is aware of all the players who loved the Galil back in the original Black Ops.

For running and gunning my favorite build is no stock, zodiac, stripped grip, tact fore grip, tac laser. Feels great for multiplayer
Tac foregrip? Why? It only helps with stability (idle sway), if you are running and gunning, go for the merc, it helps with hip fire
Ace, in the squall barrel the bars are the exact same as the standard barrel, not the stated 10% reduction.
The stats bars are completely inaccurate. Ace tests this information thoroughly, so if he says it reduces damage range by 10%, it's reduced by 10%.
Stats bars are and always have been meaningless in CoD

I personally use the 8.3" barrel because I really like the iron sights. You can still map people, especially if you mount, but i do run Merc Foregrip when i use it, taking up an extra attachment slot.
I wish he covered Stopping Power rounds on new guns so that we could know if they’re worth it or not.

One shot on amax with the m67 rounds to upper torso or head REALLY worth it

I was expecting more..... It is the best damage per shot weapon, however it's not that great of a tread off "reward" in comparison to high rate of fire. What happened to old Cod days high risk high reward. Fast fire full auto is the best with almost no drawbacks. Back to weapon, really disappointed at the punishment of that long range barrel. We will still see more of the other 5.56 ammo weapons.
If you mix the longer barrel with the stippled wrap and the exo stock, it's a beast. Those two attachments more than make up for the reduction in speed and then you get improved recoil and range. I use those three attachments along with the 5mw laser and the apx5 Holo sight. It's very well rounded like this and can handle pretty much every situation. I LOVE this gun.

This weapon is much more comparable to the AK with the 5.45 conversion than the standard AK-47. I would call this analogous to the Grau and M4 relationship.

Class setup for public matches that competes with the M4:
Zodiac barrel, compensator, no stock, stippled wrap, commando grip (can be swapped for tac laser for even faster ADS, or for extended mags if you need em)

The irons are one of the best in the game. If you can get used to them it opens up far, far more powerful build opportunities.
Anyone know a good pure no recoil class, 30 mags is more than enough for me and I don't really care about ads speed since I use my mp5 for close range
mono, zodiac, ranger grip, holo corp or 4.0x, tac or mw5.
Ranger seem to work better than commando for this gun.
Holo sight completely solves visual recoil problem, with dotted sight or iron sight you will be very inconsistent.
Tac will give ads + stability, stability in particular is good at very long ranges.
mw5 removes 79ms tactical sprint to fire making the gun more versatile at closer ranges. Being able to shoot sooner, out of sprint or when jumping corner is a massive benefit.
Also, don't put stippled over mw5 on this gun, it punishes stability, which you need for long range fights, it is a closer range attachment.
And if you don't care about being silent, replace mono with compensator, it decreases recoil by 28%

I have a feeling this gun is going to get a nerf sooner rather than later. It uses the same ammo type as the conversion kit on the AK-47 but does higher damage and has better range? Really? Plus it’s 3 shot kill range is comparable to an LMG rather than an AR. It’s fire rate is faster than both of the 7.62 ammo guns and has better handling traits. So what’s the point of using the SCAR or the AK anymore. Hell what’s the point of using the Grau or the M4 as this new gun completely owns both of them. I can’t see this gun being this powerful for too long. I sense a nerf coming. It’s in OP territory.

JR R Slap a compensator on the muzzle and a commando foregrip and your set. Works on pretty much every primary, especially ARs and SMGs. At least that’s what I find.
I've swapped out the stock for the VLK sight on Warzone. Love it.

Danny Wynn I think the CR-56 has a some recoil to the left, like a curve. The commando should help with that. I tested every recoil foregrip and muzzle combination and the compensator and the commando grip offered the best results. The first 3 rounds are almost right next to each other
