Obsessed with this album and perfomances,I want one more album like this by them. And yes,you are absolutely right this album is something you should listen at night😍Happy Birthday,TBHC🎉
the symbolism of alex and jamie both putting down their guitars for alex to go play the piano and jamie to play the lapsteel at the same time is so badass.
I was hoping people wouldn't notice that bit haha, soon as I saw Al and Jamie walking towards the organ and lap steel knew it was coming so got proper excited
Every time I hear this song and it gets to the part where he goes 'I've played to quiet rooms like this before' I feel like my heart is crushed and the universe is closing in on me, and in general, this album makes me so sad like very few before. 100000 time I'm hearing these two, still amazed each time anew.
as radiohead did their transition with ok compeuter on 1997, so did arctic monkeys theris with the last album almost 23 years later. their best album up to date.... i hear bunch of curtis myfield, i hear bunch of morricone and old italo western motion picture and so much other tremendous influences. i loved their debut, i didn't like the stuff in between....but their last album blew my mind away for the whole 2018. i really dunno why antony fontano, that cock sucker, gave the album such an ugly review. that pisses me so off....
lol the screams before the songs are the best part: you know the band is happy about everyone getting excited about their art, I love it. But only at the beginning, not during the songs
My favorite era right now. It's so fitting. The album sounds like something you should listen to late at night. I love it!
Totally agree with you, this is the best album ever in my opinion

hahaha yes, that change of songs is sweet
I know how you feel bro. One point perspective + American Sports is too much
@@milesth944 I love you. That would've been my exact reaction.
So sick how they did the transition live
Beyond thankful that they played these one after the other
Louis Griffin they do kind play as a pair though, it’d be weird if they played them separately
@@odw_99 they keep playing them separately which is what I was worried about, and why I was so glad when I heard that transition!
fucking sames
It’s the first time they did it on the UK tour, think I died when I heard the transition 😂
they should never break this transition. it's wonderful.
the transition between opp and american sports is literally the reason i wake up every day. on the album aND HERE

aw shit, I only processed that line now
I get multiple goosebumps from this, don't actually know what's going on.
I hope they add American Sports to the setlist this year, OPP+AS is just epic
shame they only did it for Australia
Hope they'll keep playing these songs one after the other, it's such a nice contrast. It feels almost as If they need each other. Masterpiece.
Don't mind me, just doing something for personal purposes.
0:00 - One Point Perspective;

No one gonna mention that laser pointer?
Remember seeing it a few times at the time, not sure why people are noncey enough to bring them to gigs
That laser makes me angry.
bit of a late reply, but that's just a reflection of the big spotlight in the middle of the stage into the camera.
Yeah. Its not a pointer. If it was it would be changing size.
It’s a lens flare guys. When light shines into the camera lens
What a great performance! Thanks for sharing! Pity that they didn't play these two songs like this só often.
3:29 OH YES
I think that was me! Didn't expect that transition, but I knew they were going to do it the moment Alex approached the piano
