They waited until after the main promos were done so that T.O.P's issues did not get brought up and singled out during the press tour. I don't think he was ever supposed to promote tbh, there just was so much demand for him to do so after the show came out that he is now.

T.O.P is really good in his role no matter what people said about his private life. What I feel bad about T.O.P is when other casts appeared frequently in social media to promote the SG2, we can rarely saw T.O.P.
Thanos was a very complex person. Kind and charming with the señoritas, manipulative when it suited him, funny and silly, aggressive when people wrong him and high most of the time hahahaha. There are a lots of layers within this character and that's why Thanos won everybody's love. Thank you Choi for bringing this character to life and thank you Netflix for recognising that all the world love Choi aka TOP. We hope to see Choi in more proyects very soon.
