For every comment like those I see, I simply report another dangerous driver. They don't know it, but they are helping in a small way 🤣. For those that insult me, I report two.
@makecyclingsafeagain6575 if that's the case your obviously doing this out of spite , you petulant child . Don't you think the police have better things to be doing than watching your videos.
He does have the right to cycle in the centre of his lane of traffic, however he is a FOOL if he exercises that right with the deliberate intent of annoying other road users. As he has posted more than one of these vlogs boasting about the penalties he has caused to be levied on drivers one can see that he is one of those self-righteous types who have no real life. Cyclists are slow - I know because I am one, (in Essex too) and are wise to be considerate of other road users. If the poster carries on like this the next post may be filed from a hospital bed
I did not see one car passing close... I did see many cars passing close and the ford ranger was no worse then the other. Also why so slow? Going upphill? When I ride bicycle in city traffic I am basically a motorcycle that keep up with the traffic usually, and I am not a fast cyclist compared to most other.
0:45 Perfect example of a manhole cover, pothole and car driver that understands that he must clear the vehicle coming the other way but not why the cyclist is not riding in the kerb.
From Essex Police Extra Eyes website. "A conditional offer may be proposed in cases where a course offer is either unavailable - if the offender attended the same course within the last 3 years; or inappropriate - if the offence falls outside the guidance given for offering a course but is not sufficiently severe to warrant prosecution as the first option. If the offender accepts the conditional offer they will pay a fixed penalty fine and receive points on their driving licence. If they do not accept the conditional offer then an evidential file will be prepared to allow the offence to be heard at a Magistrates’ Court."
There's a lovely pavement there, why risk your life for no reason? Or better still, why not buy a car? A nice top spec 9N Polo only costs about a grand, a diesel barge even less.
I’ve already got a 9N Polo as it happens. It was perfect for taking my bike down to RideLondon 100 mile this weekend. Took the front wheel off and it fitted straight in. If you check the Highway Code cars and bikes go on the road; pedestrians go on the pavement.
@@Tailspin80 I dunno boss you're massively less likely to die riding on a pavement. Riding Fort William is safer than your average road. I'm not trying to be a statistic, and neither should you. Learnt to drive in one of those Polos, 1.9 Diesel I believe. Completely unstallable lol it would always splutter to idle no matter how fast I dumped the clutch Also if you can get a hitch rack, it's way better for transporting bikes. A road bike should be narrow enough to fit, maybe not an XL mountain bike though.
If you cycled a bike that close to his wife I bet he'd fill you in. What a nob. BTW that road surface is terrible.
Nothing happened
I’ve been a cyclist all my life and people are so mardy these days filming absolute none-events!!
I've got to laugh at all the pub bores here, all saying "There was loads of space!", like they know better than the police 😂

I agree, also, look at the state of the road surface, just a little patience by the car drivers, literally just wait a couple of seconds, then pass.

bit of a premadona me thinks
Looks like the another council gone bust with all the potholes and cracks in the road again.

Can someone explain what 'Conditional Offer' means in this context please

No doubt you whinge about cyclists on pavements too. Jog on, you bore.
