I’m new to watercolor, I’ve only used oils and acrylics and drawing pencils before. Watercolor is vastly different and it’s taking some getting used to. I’m quite frustrated with myself, actually. But, now, with your amazing tutorials, I see what I’m doing wrong - and I just need to switch gears… and get out of the oil paint mentality and stop overthinking - and follow the steps.

Hi! I found your channel last week and was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the Cahaba Lily? They grow on the Cahaba River in Alabama. I am writing you from Arizona and my daughter would like a painting of one for her apartment. I am a water color artist, but so far all I can come up with is a white blob. Thanks for all your videos! I have been painting along and have enjoyed it so much.

Just bought a complete set of these eradicator brushes and used the affiliate code. I have just done the first in a series of large gouache paintings and I really could have used an eradicator brush when doing some lifting. Don't know how long the brushes will take to arrive with British Royal Mail, but hopefully will be using them very soon.

Rosemary and Co eradicator brushes are the best tools I've ever added to my collection. They are gentle on your paper. Use them all the time and they still look brand new. Great investment.

Curious, would one be able to use a fuller strength of the original color as shadows. I find the purple a bit distracting?

You used ultramarine and pink for the cast shadow… so ultramarine and whatever color the subject that is casting that shadow?
