  • Svami details uttara krthyam murai from periya thirumozhi pasurams: 4th pasuram: koodaa iraniyanai
    When we run into any thuyaram, we should first use our sareeram and indiriyams to overcome it. Only when we are unable to, should we do prapatti to seek His help. In the first pasuram, He was sahakaari for effort taken by devas to churn thirupaarkadal. In case of Indran or Maavali without destroying them He removed their garvam and did anugraham for them. Here, if the only way to protect aasrithaas is to do nirasanam of virodhis, He does that as well.
    koodaa iraniyanai (Emperumaan oda porundhaadha hiranyakasipu) koor ugiraal maarvidandha (anaayaasamaa He tore his chest with just His nails. So we should all sing His praise in uttara krthyam.
