I've had two 335's so far and both were Auto's with the paddles. The stock trans tune is just TERRIBLE! It was one of the reasons I sold my first 335 and got an E46 M3 6 speed Manual. Which I will keep forever and I love it so very much! BUT (There's always at least two or three of those LOL) BUT It's not the power house that the N54 can be. It's unmatched for it's incredible chassis and revs are divine! I have catless Megan Headers on it and it just sounds ....Perfect IMHO. I can tool that baby around the city like I own it and hold the tail out when, how and where I want any time I want!! I just LOVE IT!! I missed that huge rush of power and I only had my first one on stock turbos. But the trans was as he says here "Laggy" Slow and just not what it needed to be IMHO. I realize the car was designed to be a luxury car and that's one of it's great points. You can have all the creature comforts of a Luxury car and the MONSTER POWER of a drag machine Every day! AND for CHEAP!! Anyway the XHP really changed everything for me. It just woke up the trans like I had a whole different gear box! I even tried in Drag Mode and quickly changed it back to #3 Tune and even THAT was pretty aggressive for every day driving. If I'm in stop and go traffic i feel like I'm tearing the trans apart just from all the jerking around so I usually keep it in #2 Tune now and play with the other options to try and get what I'm craving. It's truly an awesome App!
Hey Greg thanks for the comment!! A manual e46!! Wow man I'd definitely keep that car as well, they're gaining value and will forsure be worth a good amount some day! Especially because everything is becoming auto or electric now and days lol. Anyways I completely agree the n54 definitely is a good bang for your buck for power and luxury! Also the xhp tune is amazing
@andrewbossman4970 they failed sadly after like close to 2 years ! Crazy thing is I had them at 17 psi for most of the time om a custom tune and still failed!!
@n54andrew lol.. that sucks. I just installed 19ts v3s....along with all supporting mods and more.. I have about 500 .miles on them so far... if they make it 2 year I will be happy. Haha

How are the 19t so far as in terms of reliability? I wanna upgrade turbos and I’m leaning towards 19t to save money over like pure turbos. I’m definitely gonna get xhp as well the shifting in the video looks like it’s a dual clutch
So so far they're good but I've noticed a slight waste gate rattle, I would switch to oem waste gate actuators and also get them balanced! To guarantee that they will last!
whats the transmission fluid you are going to be switching to? getting ready to do my trans service and was going the oem ZF fluid (since I have warranty from FCP) but wouldnt mind trying another fluid if its better before I flash xhp
Makes a lot more power and can really push the n54 motor to its limits! They have more waste gate duty cycle compared to 17ts, also every 17t car I've seen race, compared to 19ts, 19ts come out on top end

Cd919 did my tune! I'd highly recommend getting a custom tune so you don't blow your turbos!
