Idk man, last Titled Tuestday vid was great. I was just crying of laughter when at the beginning a guy hanged his queen and you said "wtf is that" I repeated that part many times lmao
Pain is in the title - but there are some great moves in this Title Tuesday. I find what Simon looks for by way of attack really instructive, here it is blitz with titled players so sometimes the opponent can find the reply, but for my games this idea of always looking for applying pressure is great to aim for. I am currently working through the Jobava London course, so good to see a game in that here! I have got a few of my friends into chess by watching Simon - they think they're having a laugh, and then before they know it they are understanding quite complex chess ideas! (Although when they're playing me and I play d4, and they start chanting 'Dutch it up! Let's Dutch it up!'....I will no longer look kindly on GingerGM.)
Simon you make the game seem like so much fun instead of a game of life and death, which i think people like me tend to do, especially when immersed in the middle of an online match up. You may be not as good as MC or Hikaru etc. but brother you are a thousand times more entertaining; plus i have learned how not just to play better chess but love the game more through your unique tuition - and you're a Brit! Thanking you from the bottomm of my heart.

Honestly ...Simon is just so like me when it comes to chess sometimes I can't help but laugh ....obviously in terms of ability he far and away out classes little ole noobius me but his "ahhh fuck it " approach to every game is utterly refreshing compared to some of the super serious try hards out there ...please never change Simon the world needs more people playing just for the fun of it
