Thank you so much for paying respect and tribute to my Dad. He loved Millwall and I know he would get a kick out of being acknowledged.
Thank you again Chris and great show and insight as always.
Lots of love and thoughts to Dan's family and the close ones of those who were taken ill yesterday. 💙

Well said Chaps. Cancer is a terrible thing and it impacts too many people.
Both my father and his father died due to prostate cancer, so I know how hard that can be.
I myself have had cancer twice, including prostate cancer and my family have been through a lot.
Personally I have always tried to keep a positive outlook and attitude and that has helped me through.
I’ve donated to Cancer Research UK for more than 20 years so I applaud your efforts.
Back to the football, we appear to be a more resilient team than at any time in the last 5 or 6 years and that is probably to do with the squad playing for each other and the recent signings being fed in slowly, even when we have had injury problems.
I’d really like to see Emakhu push on now and show what he can do.

Sunland fan , very honest take on the game ,Chris, ! I thought we done really well considering we had 6 starters missing , both sides left everything on the pitch , all the best for the rest of the season

Just heard your match comments,we, nearly, won it on @1/1:) . Totally agree about Whatmore being poor and Honeyman ineffective and with 6 defensive players behind him, these were 2 of the 3 supporting Josh, and Josh and Esse just had 2 defenders on each of them.At the start of the game I said "We will do little upfront with this lineup and go in 0/0 or 0/1 and he will then play nearer the team that should have started and when we rescue, some will say "Well Done Neil". Harris has worked wonders. Most points since February before Stoke and saved us last year but with Sunderland having half their team out,I thought it would be Azeez, Esse; Number 10, and Josh and Langstaff upfront. How wrong I was and I, genuinely, shouted"Oh! No!".

We were all-at-sea for the first 25 minutes weren't we! Spot on with Emakhu and his reaction to being kicked up in the air; concentrated on his game rather than react/mope. Harding not in favour ATM and we are certainly light at CB. Tin Hat on but I think the CB Humphreys at Rotherham is not in a good place and could thrive with us given confidence and playing with better and more experienced players; afterall he has been linked with us earlier in the year. If we show the same endeavour against Portsmouth and get a result I’ll begin to believe but you know bi-polar Millwall. I hope Harris gives Emakhu some more encouragement and some minutes on the pitch , i think that he could be another diamond for us.

Emakhu may just be one of those guys that is fueled by anger. Not always ideal but I saw him hit a level of effort that I've not seen from him in a while.

I think that the reason behind De Norre's absence when Harris took over was simply that he did not know the player and went with Billy because he knew what he was getting. Caspar has now proved himself to Harris and as you say must be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

Good evening, chris. Sorry, I've been a stranger.
I actually agree with all of that and have said similar across the socials. Hope the 2 fans are doing well. We don't want to see these things at all. Condolences to the family and friends of the two passings 🙏🏻💙 Casper was a general yesterday. By far the best performance he's given us. Emakhu, I am over the moon for him. He's my favourite, I rate him that highly. He's been through it recently, so hopefully, he's turnt the corner. If he has, we've some player on our hands. Esse wasn't great, but we'll give him that. So pleased for Azeez. He deserved that. He's improving by the game. The last time I see a second half like that was at the old den against sheff Wednesday in the cup, 2 down at half time and won it 4-2 before that, 2-2 against cloughs forest.
What a second half. Big shout out to the 3000 Sunderland fan. They made it a good atmosphere and showed a touch of class with their patience in concern to the medical emergencies.
We both showed our best and worst, so a draw was the fairest result imo.
    Quality as usual, chris 👍🏻💙🦁

Very well said in your non-football-related comments.Extraordinary after decades without problems that 2 people have problems at the same game. We all wish them well.I am writing this before hearing your match review but,I repeat mine again, Chaps. I realize any criticism of Neil who saved us last year and has marched on is churlish, however having told everyone that we have an embarrassment of attacking riches and knowing that Sunderland lost so many key players and THEN hearing the team I was disappointed and angry because I called it. We would offer little with Josh and Romain having 2 players on them both and??? Nothing, which is, exactly what we offered..
I said it would be 0/0 or 0/1 and THEN he would be forced to attack and play 2 upfront and have to do what he should have done in the first place. He left Azeez out for Whatmore, who lasted 70 minutes(how?), and Tom (great servant but League 1 now, IMO) instead of Langstaff>(how?) and, immediately, with the Subs we looked a threat which grew and grew with every attacking Sub. We could all see Josh was out on his feet and Ivanovic was now on and with Azeez and Emakhu
AT LAST, we remembered we were at Home and went for it and just after they could have clinched it we got a deserved Draw and nearly won it in the last few seconds.
To summarise.A DRAW, exactly, the right result as they should have been 2/0 at the interval but we dominated the second half and both teams nearly nicked it.
IVANOVIC, COBURN, LANGSTAFF, EMAKHU, AZEEZ and he starts with just ONE of them.We did a great "job" on Leeds and Burnley but this was a GOLDEN opportunity and a WASTED 1st Half.

Chris if Harris brings on azeez and emaku with half hour to go we win that game, he waits until the 75th minute for azzez and 89th minute for emaku, they were there for the taking in that second half if only he would show some bollox.

You take any opportunity to have a pop. Never seen you praise though? Strange. Almost like you have an agenda.

    • @bazleigh8599
      @bazleigh8599 Місяць тому

Nothing to do with having a pop, I’m sorry but how does he justify Bradshaw before langstaff and ivanovich, I’d like to know, the goal on Saturday was down to the subs so instead of bringing emaku on with a minute to go ( piss take ) give him half hour, same as langstaff 89th minute, I mean it’s a joke, how does watmore get in front of azzez, tell us how he justifies these selections.
