To colonise the jar it may take anything from 1 to 3 months, depending on the state and kind of sawdust and type of the mushroom. If you put an early L3 into ~1l l jar it will be enough for an average rainbow stag beetle larva to grow to pupal stage.

Do you let the larvae pupate in the kinshi?
Normally yes. Sometimes if I notice that larva has become immobile, I remove it, since then I can use kinshi to feed rhino beetles larvae :)
Are you currently selling these L3 larvae? Or even better, will you once they're adults?
How long does a jar of oyster kinshi take to be ready to eat? One jar lasts 1-2 months for one larva?

@@connorwestgate dynastes do not normally eat kinshi. I mean some larvae may eat it but it is not the best food for them
