    I do have a comment question about the fact that Solomon was not a virgin only the Shilamite was. According to the way the story is written you are led to believe this is the purest form of a relationship but in reality it appears from the Bible commentary Solomon had about 140 women already. Very confusing.

      It must have been a one hundred and forty first fresh love but probably with this woman, solomon loved her from the bottom or top of his heart but the others were just political ties

    Who created gay people? So meaning, gay people choose to become gay than being straight?
    Have you had any experience talking to anyone who belongs to lgbt family? If being gay is their choice?

    • @NegSteLucie
      @NegSteLucie 5 років тому +1

      It's a choice. The attraction might not be but it is a choice to engage in homosexual relationships.

    • @MsGratefulgal
      @MsGratefulgal 5 років тому

      @@NegSteLucie wait, wait, the attraction to same sex might be there but it is a choice to engage in a relationship. Roden, God created us all, being gay is not their choice, it is the relationship which is a choice. I listen to Rosalia Butterfield, she is helpful in this subject. Though married to a man, she avoids meeting her lesbian friends, she does not deny that the attraction is not there.

      I'd like you to picture it this way, Every evil thing is the result of sin.
      I once had the same question along with Who created the kid with an auto immune disease? The kid born paralyzed or missing something? Maybe the one's that never even lived?
      But I came to realize
      This what not his purpose for mankind.
      When the Bible talked about creation Chapters 1&2 I remember him saying let us make man in our image. Now if you study you will notice a change in before and after the fall (When they ate the fruit and gave our rights over to Satan). So yes God created us but the Bible says all have sin and came short of the glory of God (our natural nature).Now when sin came in we as human take on a *sinful nature*. Hence literally "pandora's box was open " and in flooded all these diseases, men with wicked hearts and minds, and chaos.
      Why would anyone think God would willingly create someone with natural birth defects? Leaving people to live difficult lives?
      Allot of people don't really understand sin and how seriously crippling it is. The good part is that we can be free from it. When the Bible talks about freedom, true freedom from sin, if we believe and have faith in Jesus we can truly experience victory over sin. John 3:16. And my favorite promise John 14:1-3
      There IS a choice each and everyone of us have to make.

    Where was Solomon's wisdom when he married 700 and had so many girlfriends? What did the Shulamite do about his infidelities?

    • @MsGratefulgal
      @MsGratefulgal 5 років тому

      He thought it wise to intermarry. Intermarriages can create peace and and also destruction. The name Solomon was associated to peace, he tried to make peace with his neighbors but the women corrupted him. I think kings from time immemorial were rewarded with girlfriends. Saul rewarded David. So it is like culture and that is why the Eunuchs have purpose. The shulamite must have understood that she was a 'Rachel' not a 'Leah' and I think she was oriented into the culture of Royalship. For example, asking for permission to see the king like in Esther's case and Solomon was always on mission, no ambassadors, so the Eunuchs did their role.

    You might want to adjust what you frequently say about being able to get a quarterly at every adventist church because come to my home adventist church and you will NOT BE ABLE TO GET A QUARTERLY UNLESS THEY HAVE ORDERED MORE BECAUSE SAVE ON INK THEY ONLY PROVIDE QUARTERLIES FOR A SELECT GROUP OF PEOPLE AND THESE QUARTERLIES ARE USED. & THERE ARE NO MORE WAS WHAT I WAS TOLD. How was Solomon wise? He had a bunch of wives and side chicks. Did he not care how other people feel how each individual girl felt like maybe used, like they were just property? I thought wisdom would tell you the gods plan of one woman is the smartest and was designed from the beginning

    • @lindanelson3561
      @lindanelson3561 5 років тому +2

      Yes Solomon was wise but he was still human so he moved away from God's ideal, in the end when he saw how far removed he was from how he was before, he wrote vanity of vanities all is vanity.

      These are records of the lives of real people Cosmin. God has not hidden their sinful lives but instead has shown that we can repent and ask for forgiveness for our sins. We still have to live with the consequences of our actions i.e. Solomon had so many wives and concubines that he had to deal with jealousy, fighting and other insecurities these dear women had to endure as well. This gives us hope that we can overcome our own sinful nature and follow God. I hope that helps.

      @@cynthia3216 all I'm saying. Wisest should mean something. Wise person know what certain actions cause. Wise people care about others and have a calm demeanor.....Solomon just seemed to be a king who could do whatever he wanted the. When he was old and out of options he came to his senses....

    • @cynthia3216

      I think what the bible has shown in the end was that Solomon finally realized all his wayward ways had caused pain and other negatives. That is part of understanding and that is wisdom.
      Also, Solomon wasn't necessarily most wise in the beginning with the subject of women and marriage, however God blessed him with immense knowledge in many other areas of life. Have a blessed day.

      I think Vashti was a principled woman, she chose to display her beauty only to her husband but she lost her place. I wish she remembered to please her husband and forget about her principles. On the other hand it may not necessarily be culture but influence of Power. Joseph was giving up on marrying Mary but he received a dream in which he was asked to take Mary as his wife because she was carrying a special child.

    • @teeteesoprecious

      It's the same as people today thinking they can "do what ever they want with out thinking about the "consequences " of their actions. You may see at as them "doing what they want" but THERE WERE and DID have to deal with the hardships and consequences that came with them. Which is why they repented and reconciled themselves back to God, showing that we can too. A choice given to everyone.

      @@redbullwiseman4805 I refer you to the book ECCLESIASTES. It's Solomon reflecting on everything that happened in his life. All were vanity he stated. He made his mistakes but I truly get the impression after that book that maybe the title fit him after all ... He was surely wise until he became a fool. It may seems that wisdom profit him nothing but as quote
      "where there is a will there is a way". His experience made him a wise old man if I can say that
