It’s so fun seeing your family in st augustine for the first time! I live just 30 minutes away from st augustine so it is like a second home to me, it’s such a beautiful and fun place! My mother in law’s birthday is actually the same day as yours and we were out there celebrating her birthday as well. It would’ve been so great to run into you guys while you were there! Do you have a traditional latin mass around where you guys live? I would look in to it, and try to attend that mass. So beautiful and otherworldly. A very reverent way to worship the Lord.
Its the oldest continously lived in city. Pensacola is the oldest city, but it isn't the oldest continously lived in city. Pensacola was founded in 1559 where St. Augustine was founded in 1565. *Edit I found out Europeans landed in Pensacola int 1539. It took them 20 years to name it 🤣.
