Song gives me chills. I can imagine a true longing for someone that you want to be with and that you need to come with you and be with you wherever you are. Always a hint of sadness to her songs, and she likes to focus on minor notes. I think that's what attracts me to her music. At least some of it. Love the analysis of the parts of this song and how they create the effect she wants.

I hate to be the killjoy here, but is it only me noticing that this is NOT a live performance? I like Lana but if anyone has ever seen her perform live knows that she doesn't sound like like this.

Good question! Tbh a lot of it are effects they use on her voice BUT go listen to a lot of old movies/ speakers 30/50s they had a different way of speaking and she kind of mimics that
