@@CataCiotlaus Jericho was 52 when he became AEW champ so.. and, I don't think he meant a world title run. I think he meant a long tnt title run or a hell of a push to the top for a good bit of time. I personally believe Archer should win the FTW title and turn it into the "hardcore" type title for AEW. That would be DOPE.

This match was absolutely insane, it felt like a genuine brawl, there were some VICIOUS bumps. Greatly exceeded my expectations
I thought nothing of the ref bending over until Hangman was already most of the way through the flip. It was a bit convoluted, but somehow it totally worked.
A great ending to one of the best Dynamites ever.

@Bobby Go back and watch Being the Elite from Adam's early days and also the things Tony Khan has said about Adam Page since day one! They honestly believe Hangman is the future of wrestling and wanted him to be champion very early on but knew it was best to wait in order to the newer crowd more familiarized with who he is. It's the entire reason they had him wrestler Jericho for the inaugural AEW title match. This is only Hangman's first run with the belt and will have several more if everything goes to plan.
They've built up Adam Page for 2 years, so I don't see him losing the belt to at least his 9th month as champ.

It feels so great to see Adam Page win matches as the AEW World Champion after all he has gone through. What an effort by him! Fighting champ Hangman! 🔥 💪 This was such a great brutal match. The in-ring unique offence displayed by both the wrestlers was top notch. Especially that unique finish! That Buckshot Lariat was smooth! In-ring IQ and awareness of Hangman ☝

This was a championship caliber match. This was amazing. One of the best no DQ-esque matches I’ve seen.

I think as good as Hangman is he doesn’t have the charisma to be a leading man but the performances he has put on in the ring has been nothing short of world class. I really hope he grows into his new role, he’s still so young and has so much potential

Props to hangman. Im not even gonna lie. When he took the belt from Kenny, I was very worried that Hangman wouldn't stack up to the reigns of Mox,Jericho, and Omega. But so far, he has gone above and beyond with his defenses and character work. This open challenge mentality and brutal match quality is proving that Hangman truly is as Cowboy as it gets! 🤠☠ next up, Adam Cole (Bay-Bay) , I can't wait to see how Page manages to hand Adam his first official defeat in AEW.
Hangman's starting to grow on me after this match. He's tough as f*ck and is willing to be beaten into a bloody mess for the business, which massively gets my respect. Although I'd like to see the belt on Archer someday, I'd like to see more of what Hangman can do with it to shape his legacy in the business so we can indulge in this version of his character longer.

I was sceptical of this being a Texas Death Match, but the stipulation added so much in the first 2 minutes that all that scepticism immediately washed away. Incredible match.
It's a last man standing match with submission added to it since they can't use the name last man standing since the other promotion is using that name.

Coles definitely coming after the belt but I liked him doing this more than him doing a beat down with the belt. He and Page haven't interacted much if any since his debut... They are old friends so nice to see that respect for the moment. That said... I cannot wait to see if the Bucks come to Hangmans defense if Fish and O'Reilly get involved.

I love the subtle storytelling, how Cole came in with respect to put the belt on Page but also making it feel like he's signifying he's next for a title shot.
Usually the next contender comes and attacks the winner but id be happy if this was the way they did it, kind of like how NJPW does.
Hangman Adam Page may still be developing his character on the mic but his In ring skills are just getting better and better. A Buck shot lariat over a freaking referee through a table!!!!!! One of the best combo moves that should be on their freaking video game 😎

Such a creative finish. I had zero interest in Archer going for the AEW Championship, but it ended up being a nice mini-feud before the PPV program with Cole begins.

Jake Snake realmente deberia estar muerto hace tiempo por como llevaba su vida, pero el cambio que llevo lo ayudo a sentirse vivo otra vez. Como dijo Stone Cold a DDP "Si esa mierda ayuda a cambiar a Jake Snake, realmente es una mierda maravillosa" y ahi tienes a Stone Cold haciendo DDP Yoga.

This match did so much for both of these men. Lance Archer is more interesting then he ever was and Hangman put on a hell of a hardcore match which always wins you big points. AEW isn't perfect but they definitely understand professional wrestling.
Dude this episode of Dynamite was pure FIRE, this was amazing and this match was bloody awesome.
This is one of the best Dynamite episode i've seen! Incredible from top to bottom!

Amazing match. Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and when he hit the buckshot off the refs back I was out of my seat.
Tbh, this was actually my favorite moment of the night lol. And I didn’t think it’d be. And they did so much in the match with not that much time so that was very impressive. The Dynamite had waaaaay more than I expected. And yeah I actually loved this match, Hangman’s having a great run. Hangman watch out for the BayBay man. That nigga dangerous😂.
This Dynamite was ok. Hard to be great when it only had three matches, dumb segments (looking at you inner circle and the Elite) and 2 pointless women's matches. I was there and this and the tag match was the loudest the crowd got.. we spent most of this arguing who was coming through the forbidden door and other wrestling promotions
@@mikawhofan the last forbidden door reveal would of been alot better if they did the jay white debut at ringside and with someone other than the bucks.
Massive respect for these two men and what a match this was. If this is somehow not rated 5 stars, then this rating was not worth it.

I love the ending of the match where Adam Cole puts the title on Adam Page's shoulder. Like saying, *"Respect for being the champ in AEW and we both debuted as a tag team in ROH (future shock), but this title is mine soon!"* You gotta love AEW!

Watching this live, I had to ask myself if Adam bladed himself with a butcher knife. Shades of a Ric Flair Crimson mask.
Also thought Cole was definitely going to hit a cheapshot super kick, but instead played it serious and simply stated, I'm next in line for Pretty Platinum. Imagine what Cole could do if he ever cut ties with the Young Goofs...
