Could we get an update to gravity/falling block duping in 1.19.60?
At least my experience is the duping still happens when with the machine, but when going through the gateway to the other end island then it stops working, this didn't used to be the case. Also, initially there were blocks just on top of the hoppers, which I had to mine to remove. I then added pointed dripstone to break these blocks, but the blocks still weren't going into the hoppers and just floated there waiting to be picked up.
So now duping is far less efficient than it used to be where you could just afk on the end island the blocks were being sent to and unload the chest/s or replace the shulker/s when needed.
Still, I'm happy it works at all in 1.19.60. I was afraid this update broke it entirely.

If anyone on bedrock console is having the issue where the eggs get burned up before being dispensed, i replaced the slab with a trap door and the farm works fine now

Bedrock 1.20 tips!!!!
Replace the slab with a cake. Some reason the items were being dispensed outside the chamber. Cake solved it.
Instead of the door technique, run a stream of water. Place water far enough away that the water reaches up to the last block before the drop. Have a stairway going up to the source block the chickens go up. Make a platform on the opposite side of that and the chickens will literally walk into the flow and get pushed into the hole.
So I think I can answer a problem a few people seem to be having.
Yes this farm still works, if you see the egg pop out and lava flash but no chicken do not worry! Not every egg will hatch a chick, watch it for a few mins and you’ll see some baby chicks start to spawn, the lava will not effect them until they are fully grown.
My eggs are hatching but when even one chicken grows up all of the baby chickens burn to death??

Just built this is PE 1.20. It works, but it performs poorly. Still get a lot of chickens being killed as soon as they hatch, but i am getting a few to grow to adulthood. I went afk for like half an hour and I back to only 8 cooked chickens. For some reason after only a couple eggs hatch, the rest of them that come into the kill area just get immediately burnt up. I don’t understand.

Unfortunately, the only mob you can reproduce without breeding is chickens. Cows would be great but there is no way to do that

This is a great video!! Works very well, however, all my chickens get burned instead of dropping cooked chicken. Any advice to stop them from burning after the chicken dies?
edit: I changed the top glass block to another trap door. the chickens wont jump and the adult ones that die will drop cooked chicken

I set up my chicken farm but the eggs dont go down into the hopper, rhey just sit in the top chamber with the adult chickens. How do i fix it?

I have built a mob farm in my survival world (bedrock edition) but the mob spawning is very low although I go AFK for long time and I built this farm about 120 blocks over ground
Can you help me in fixing it?
Bedrock edition doesnt have good spawning , its normal . We cant get much mob from a farm, only we can use spawner

would that work it you replace the button with an observer + light sensor to trigger the lava automatically twice a day ?

Will it still work if you move far from the farm
if you ever make this farm in an open area, make sure you put a roof over the machine because all my chickens died because of lightning
you can also turn this into a emerald farm just get a zombified fletcher cure it then look for the "1 feather for 1 emerald" trade if you dont have it redo the process till you get it
@jc plays I've been having trouble with my chicken farm. It'll have the chick's under the lava but as soon as 1 grows it dies but so do all the chick's and I don't get any loot.any tips?
Same issue with every farm I've tried, I'm experimenting by reducing the number of chickens laying eggs but so far no luck
@@iKnownot999 have you managed to figure a workaround? Having that same problem myself. Sometimes it work’s normal but other times all baby chicks die when an adult one dies
Can I ask why there is no lava whole time, like why there is dropper for lava? O created similar farm and have lava placed constantly
It might burn the egg or the chicken would die before it has grown fully. It might also log the slab (idk if this is possible with lava like it is with water though)
Mine seems to be working but i only get one cooked chicken for every 10 chickens that get burned. I just have a lot of feathers

Is there a way to turn the observers when placing from the bottom? All the ones I place face a very certain direction despite which way I’m turned towards
i had the same issue and can not get it to rotate... i think it depends you you are building your farm N-S or E-W
@@pyromaniak678 Does the orientation break the farm? I built it and have the arrows pointing down, but the block is rotated like you guys are saying. For whatever reason, no babies are Laing it to GET fried in the furnace.
@@TimLavelle nope it doesn’t as long as the red dot at the bottom of the observer is facing down then you should be fine
@@TimLavelle also it’s like a 1/8 chance of an egg spawning a chicken so you might just be unlucky
The observer won’t change direction so I built the rest of the farm how the video shows, but the eggs won’t dispense into the chamber from the dispenser. I’ve set up the red stone just like the video, the only thing I can think of is that the observer arrow need to face how it is in the video, not towards the hopper.

Maybe put in a water bucket instead of the lava bucket to drown the chicken? It may be slower but it sounds like it would work so maybe try that
@@thisaintCosmic no that wouldnt work because this design dispenses the lava bucket and then takes it back in too quick for a chicken to drown if it was water

All of those precious enchanting levels down the drain. You get a ton of Exp when you kill the chickens yourself and when you cook the chickens. You should make a farm where you can get all three phases of exp. Breeding them at the top for exp, the babies fall into another chamber (kill chamber), All chickens that grow up are killed by you in the second chamber for the second round of exp, then meat can be funneled from second chamber into a third chamber that has a smelter with lever on it so that when meat is done cooking you Pull lever and get the exp from cooking the meat for a third round of exp.

I’m havin mg some trouble with this farm. If I leave the area and come back, I find several chickens outside of the farm just wandering around. My farm is inside of a building so I know they’re coming from the farm. Did I somehow do the farm incorrectly? I keep coming back and checking and I don’t see anything different with mine vs yours
It’ll be because the baby chickens can get out of the chamber where they are held by slipping through the gap between the wall on top. To fix this, place a block on either side of the wall then just remove it for a bit when you want to breed the chickens

I have the same issue. Like first the eggs doesn't get shot out in the kill chamber, then also the lava won't stop, it's just stays outside.

I recommend building a gold farm. It is soo good for xp. You can make it better by building multiple together. Plus you get gold

Edit: looks like I found a solution. When afk, just hold seeds to keep them still. They dont jump, and most chickn makes it to the chest now

On java the chicken burns in the lava. Place a hopper minecart instead and another hopper under that leads to the chest
