      One has to remember that China is a highly populated country and Shanghai apparently is the most densely populated city in the whole of China and in the world. Maybe that’s why they want to work towards a zero Covid policy. Just think if they do what we are doing in the West. AND also get rid of mask mandates while dealing with Omicron 2 (as contagious as Measles) now. Can you imagine the rate of infection? That would be faster than a domino effect. It would be crazy! So many infected at once and waves and waves and tsunamis of infection throughout their populace. It would break down everything and be unmanageable on every scale and level. AND the variants that would arise from that?
      We have this snooty attitude here in the West that they’re doing it all wrong. Maybe they’re doing it all right considering their situation. We also have to take into consideration of demographics with pandemics. And we the West would probably blame them if they adopted our approach and then variants come out of China like it’s a conveyer belt. Not to say our approach isn’t creating variants ourselves ~ where do you think Om 1 and 2 came from. I think China is doing the right thing by having the plan to at least suppress Covid/Omicron especially with their population situation. And I much prefer the longterm approach to managing a pandemic than the shorterm, short sighted, shortcut approach (we have no patience for anything) the West likes to adopt, calling it “endemic” which will lead to wave after wave after variant after variant… Endemic indeed.

      Yes, do try to protect yourself even though you had Covid. As your immune system is lowered during pregnancy and immunity may wane over time, it’s best to take every precaution to protect yourself and your sweet baby. I follow a wonderful artist on Instagram and she did get Covid during her pregnancy and thank goodness was able to get the special monoclonal antibodies treatment/antiviral. So she had a mild infection and recovered real quick. Thank God! However, she did end up with a slightly early, 34 week, premature labor. Thank goodness they gave her 2 steroids shots. Her little one is doing really well in the NICU and is on a CPAP type breathing support BUT doing very well. I do feel that having Covid, no matter it was mild, might have been a precursor to the preemie delivery. So if you can be extra cautious at this time it would be really good.
      Blessings to you and your baby for a safe and healthy pregnancy.

      Definitely something China knows the rest of medical science is just learning. Remember, China began studying novel Corona viruses back in 2002 with the SARS outbreak. With twenty years of study on human subjects, China definitely has an edge on understanding the long Covid health risks, particularly in the unvaccinated.

    My household ages 12-64 all had the virus at the end of march into april. Kids were no big deal, 16 year old just threw up for 2 days. 12 year old had stuffy nose/slight cough for a week. I in my 30's had headache,fever,chills,cough,sore throat, lost my taste/smell etc. I had like EVERY symptom almost lol. Took me 3 weeks to feel myself. My mom 63, diabetes, high blood pressure, over weight, she had a rough go but I got her through it. My dad 64, heart attack survivor from 2001 had muscle aches mostly and a cough. Those over a month later his ears are still plugged. None of us had any jabs, none of us went to hospital. It was awful but no regrets over not taking jabs.

    Absolutely China knows something.
    I have cancer again. Going for 4th booster. I had original Wuhan 7/20 with pneumonia. I had something this Feb. but rapid test was negative. Urgent care Dr thought still might have been covid. Fever 103.2 and cannot describe the worse sore throat ever in my 72 years. I did respond well to im antibiotics and steroids so I don't know. My last booster was in November so it is time again. I am not sure what else people can do. I don't go out much. Groceries delivered because I like it now! How did I live without that. I feel for people that have to go out for work and worry about the kids in school. It is horrible to think of lock down again. Maybe China can keep it in house with their total lockdowns whatever "IT" is.

    Gotcha doc. I am fully vaxed with three Pfizer and the forth was Moderna and yes the Moderna hit me pretty hard. Also had suspected cases at the beginning and also first week of March. I think I am protected as well as possible right now. Gonna try one more trip to Florida beaches later this month with outdoor activities and camping just in case things get bad again and we need to personally lock down again. I am in rural Missouri where no one takes it serious so I have to protect myself. Also I am old so I do not have time to waste and must take risks if I want to do anything. Your info helps me do that so thanks. And this bird flu thing has me looking close also. Still wondering how that pig epidemic in China years ago was involved since they reacted so strongly to that one. Must have been some really bad stuff to cut their food supply like that. They know more than they are talking about. PS I have been disabled mostly due to lung and heart damage from the flu in 1997 similar to long covid so I can tell you one thing for sure, this is going to be a real problem for a lifetime for many and they have no idea how hard it is to be so physically limited. There were many times I just wanted to give up and die. Reality is going to be hard for many who ignored this thing. Sux to be them.

    I had an intake with a new primary care at a new hospital Tuesday. I came home and felt crappy later in the day. Found out Wednesday morning I caught influenza type A. Shocking. I haven't been sick once since the pandemic started. I've been picking and choosing when to leave the house and keeping up social distancing and a n95 mask the entire time.
    Influenza type A is running around here in Massachusetts. The doctors are seeing a lot of it.

    • @globetwig4401
      @globetwig4401 2 роки тому

      The liver failure in younger children is currently thought to be associated with an adenovirus, but the cause is looking like immuno-suppression from over exposure to Omicron (all strains) re-infections in vulnerable children, with an incidental adeno-infection. This is yet to be established by the CDC, but it may be a problem. Doctor's in China published studies which confirmed the possibility of this early in the pandemic.
      The bird flu issue isn't having an effect at the moment, but the is a potential for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza to become a problem due to immune-suppression from over exposure to the Sars-Cov-2 virus. Existing human to human flu strains may or may not cause a surge in cases, but if they do then it's a problem. This is going to be part of what's known in China.

    No truck is worth $116.00. I purchased my 2019 RAM 1500 4x4 limited for $55,000 new off the lot. It’s the top of the line and I thought it was expensive when I bought it. This explains why I keep getting contacted by the dealership about selling them my truck. Little do they know I put about 250,000 miles on a truck before I decide to part with it.

      Don't think you can drive a truck in the same manner you drive a car around. Trucks are so easy to slide under and cut the cat. off. New trucks have such lovely tires they get stolen if they have 80% tread. New truck when stolen can be parted out for low mileage engine and tranny to be reinstalled on a 400,000 mile truck with blown engine that becomes stealth new.
      Would shop for a good used Dodge Ram with a Cummins diesel, that could also get stolen but investment is less and will out pull new truck.
      People in some towns attack trucks when they are parked. They do all kinds of weird stuff to them. Would suggest locking gas cap and lock hood shut. If you buy a new one, don't get attached to it.

I just saw that about the deer but I heard it was people to deer not deer to people. The deer seem to be unaffected by it. That is scary for me as Missouri has a huge deer herd and has been dealing with CWD for almost a decade now. I love venison and eat it when ever I can get it, but I might have to rethink that if you are correct.

    • @James-ke5sx
      @James-ke5sx 2 роки тому

      @@markpashia7067 The entire whitetail deer population from Southern Canada to Northern South America have been highly infected for over one year. They even got Omicron soon after humans started spreading. They are the most abundant large mammal and the primary food source for every single carnivore including humans from Wildcats to snakes and alligators. Even worse they can recombine our coronavirus with their own coronaviruses and form completely different viruses.Omicron most likely came from a mouse resovoir after they became infected from humans. Because Omicron has no family tree other than to the original Wuhan variant.There are over 400 different vertebrae from primates, dolphins to hippopotamus that have been infected. Gorillas chimpanzees baboons Etc worldwide are getting infected. Almost every wildlife reserve is closed to humans. The deer in Ontario Canada have a completely different variant unlike Delta or Omicron and this variant has no recent family tree therfore they picked up covid over one year ago and have been circulating and mutating this variant. 30+ researchers were involved. They cannot prove 100% beyond the shadow of a doubt but seeing as the man handles these deer and has exactly the same new variant then he could only have been infected by the deer. Same like in Denmark when minks infected farmers after farmers infected minks. Eventually these infected species will reinfect the human race with new variants.

      My prediction is the end of humanity personally because things keep happening in our spiraling out of control and no one has enough logic to figure it out we always think we have drugs to fix things but we don’t and this is bird flu we’re screwed.

      I misspoke. It is from an email update from Katelyn Jetelina an epidemiologist and the exact wording is ->
      One possible culprit that has floated to the top of the list is the adenovirus, as 40 out of the 53 (75%) tested cases in the U.K. were positive. In the WHO report, 74 cases tested positive (no denominator was provided). Adenoviruses typically cause colds, tonsillitis, and ear infections in children. They can also cause diarrhea. There are over 50 different adenovirus strains that infect humans, but many of these cases have been genetically identified as Adenovirus 41, which typically cause diarrhea. The adenovirus could have mutated to cause more severe disease. Or we could have a novel strain.
      -> there is much more to her info dated April 26 but I can’t copy/paste entire article. Maybe you can search it and sign up for daily emails. She is wonderful and smart. She did cut down from daily a little while back when she started getting d**** threats. She has 2 kids under 5 and is anxiously waiting on updates about the vaccine for them. Her qualifications are: Your Local Epidemiologist (YLE)” is written by Dr. Katelyn Jetelina, MPH PhD-an epidemiologist, biostatistician, professor, researcher, wife, and mom of two little girls.

    Please keep up the Coronavirus updates! I agree something big is happening in China! By the way, inflation is caused by increases in the Cash supply primarily.

      China is in trouble for these reasons. 1)most elderly people there have not been boosted, 2) their vaccines are not as good as moderna of pfizer, 3) their draconian restrictions have limited wild life infections a lot more than the UK or United States.
      Having said all that- China is still over reacting

      @@prayersofesther4874 None of the children in the UK who had hepatitis were vaccinated. I don't know about other countries.

    Thanks, hope you are wrong, re China.
    Having visited there quite a few times over the years they are very sensitive about infectious disease, understandably given their population density.
    What to us would be seen as over reaction, to them is common sense.

    Wasn’t a scientist funded by the Gates foundation to futz around with various bird flus/Spanish/seasonal flus (2008 and continued). It’s what led to the end of gain of function research. Ice Age Farmer has good vids.
