Gig 'Em Ags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a junior in high school and love A&M....it is the perfect fit for me!!! Rooted with tradition and friendliness.....i love everything about it....the corps,midnight yell,all the traditions and the howdies that are inevitable......the school pride and spirit that is always there!!! The way i feel like family even though i'm not there yet... I love aggieland!!!!!!!!!!!!
its the inviting atmosphere, anyone here would gladly take you in and welcome you as part of the Aggie Family and invite you to share in the good times and cold beer
@007intense admittedly Austin has a better finance department, however if you are coming for the experience as well as an education then hands down you need to choose A&M. you will not find a friendlier campus here in the US, and as the video says the traditions here are something you really have to experience for yourself. Though the SEC is no doubt the best conference in the nation, A&M will compete or win the big 12 next year or in 2 years, because they have a VEEEERY young team (youngest in college football) and with good coaching they will be VERY succesfull

i'm glad that we can agree on one thing: coach fran is an embarrassment it isn't a rivalry, it's just blanket harassment and me not standing for it anymore... i will never apologize for having pride in my university those standings are legitimate... the U.S. News and World Report is the main "place" for rankings... if i had wanted to just boost tamu, i'd've mentioned that it was ranked #1 by the Washington Monthly, but we can both agree that that is one helluva stretch

okay, let's just ignore the fact that tamu has 2 rivalries: one with t.u., and one with baylor... they're called the Lonestar Showdown and the Battle of the Brazos, respectively just because you call it a rivalry doesn't make it one, there is an official process to go through... hopefully one day there will be an official rivalry between our two schools (and i'm a junior, not a "teenager who just got out of high school") but in the meantime, there isn't a rivalry

um you should probably check your facts many of their athletic programs have been big 12 champions many times... maybe they're football team isn't the best but its been improving and now with a new coaching staff they will likely only get much better...
rivalries require all sports and academics, not just football... sure tech has destroyed tamu in football lately, but tamu has completely dominated in all other sports and academics (that's why tamu is one of the best universities in the world and tech isn't even on the "best in the nation" list)
i never claimed that tamu was in the ivy league, but it is ranked in the top 50 universities in the world... don't twist my words to mean something else... this has never been about only football, it was about a 'rivalry' which encompasses more than just one sport o, and that wasn't a made up fact, the U.S. News and World Report declared tamu 23rd among all public universities... tech isn't ranked
Welcome to my predicament. There are both tech and t.u. people posting. It makes no sense at all. I have not once looked up a t.u. or tech video to post on. I tend to ignore all of them just to be the bigger man, but some of the comments on this one are just outrageous.

As AGGIES, we call the University of Texas "t.u." because Texas A&M University was the first public university in Texas not the University of Texas as they claim to be in the name of the school. of course, i'm still trying and failing to understand why a person from tech would search for a tamu video just to try to insult tamu... all you end up doing is exposing your own ignorance i'm curious as to what earned your ire... did u get rejected from tamu? there's no shame in that, lots of people do it isn't like you see tamu students going to tech videos to insult them... that's kind of beneath us

My boy Jake throwing a temper tantrum at the fanbase of another school that had the resources and good sense to leave the Big 12 while the Kittys will be forced settle for some poop conference.

i have always wanted to go to A&M. But now i want to go even more because of the soccer team and vet classes.

I'm currently a bio major here in CA but I'm gonna go in Texas A&M for my veterinary school education. I need a minimum GPA of 2.90 to get in.

It's a community that was built around the university. It would not hardly exist w/o the university.
