I was using prelade buff paladin the other day and wrecked by RNG when i had a bomb warrior in fatigue and without cards delivery drone gave him mecha thun in front of my 12/15 prelade.
Roger had this combo in his Paladin list for HCT to combat against Warriors so he wouldn't fatigue pretty cool but yea I think you gotta run a Mech shell and Undertakah to make it work.
Thing about decks like these is that they could never have 100% win rate since all the enemy needs is 1 silence. Or hex... Or polyporph... Or overdraw...
This is good in wild with spikeridge, call to arms, and other good control cards. Call to arms on 5 with a bunch of other 2 drops is super good against basically every deck. Alternatively shirvallah/elekk/baleful/holy wrath is another direction to take buff pally, even lynessa and uther. Compared to a strictly shirvallah-otk-pally deck it is durable and really hard to interrupt or out-tank. Rather than being limited to 50 damage vs warriors and druids and ice block mages, you can shuffle lynessas and whatnot or go for the uther combo. Wild is also generally more control- and disruption- built which makes a versatile control deck with lots of minor, flexible combos a pretty optimal direction.
3+ attack and 0 health. The card then becomes LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE. Unless you can buff from in your hand (Farraki Battleaxe). Sword of Justice doesn't work since the prelate dies immediately upon being played.
So let me get this straight. The counter to the most annoying version ever created of control warrior is... freaking Immortal Prelate of all cards? And you can see how many times said warrior managed to clear the board. Damn, I love this meta, anything is possible.
I've tried my best building an Immortal Prelate deck and I found it is 100% vs Warrior and a toss up vs Hunter. It loses horribly to Rogue (sap your buffed IP), Control Shaman (2 silence+2 poly), Priest (silence) and mage (2 poly). Probably needs more immortal prelate like cards, maybe in the next exp Blizz will throw it a bone.
It doesnt. Run 2 prelates and faceless and you suddenly Need 4 silences. The whole Joke of this Deck is to make 1 big boy,and it will Always be Worse Than Decks with 2 prelates.

Toast you should try reoccurring villain paladin, Kripp made a video on it not too long ago.
Wild would be more interesting in terms of seeing limit of this deck.
Wild is also overrun with odd paladin, aggro kingsbane, big priest and whoever knows what else.
But I guess standard is favoring decks that runs silence/transformation effects atm, so maybe it's an even trade
Quick question: If a priest uses scheme + topsy on immortal prelate, what stats does she have when she shuffles back into your deck?
