This really is quite typical for southern Germany...the "Biergarten". During the week you meet with friends or go with some colleagues for a beer or two to have a nice time. During the week you usually do not get drunk......usually :-)
Have you ever been to the "real" south-west of Germany ? Like Oberschwaben (Upper Swabia-Region),Schwäbische Alb or the area around the Bodensee (Lake of Constance) ? If not, you definatly should ! ;)
He has allready been to the black forest, which is indeed a nice spot BUT its not the only awesome part of South West Germany. And before we go too much into details... the black forest and Freiburg are bit more in the West but its definatly not more in the South :P
Hi NALF! My dad grew up in SHA so I visit pretty often to see his side of the family (He also played for the Unicorns so your videos are that much more cooler lol). Your videos help when I'm missing my family and Germany in general. The region Schwäbisch-Hall and the ones around it (Heilbronn and Hohenlohe) are IMO some of the best regions to live in in germany, so cool to see an american enjoying familiar places. Cheers!

Really cool blog i love "SHA" aswell And i even know Heiko he was my BaseBall trainer for i think 2 years one bad or good think how you can personaly see it is that when it gets late like 22:00 than manny young people smooke weed in the city and drink alcohol when you have no problem with it then you can even ask the people if you can join them! they are really nice. But when you not then you see that people really often at night in the city

Actually it's wrong to say: " Wenn du nicht aufisst gibt es morgen kein gutes Wetter"/ "If you don't eat up, there won't be good weather tomorrow". The right way to say it would be: "Wenn du nicht aufisst, gibt es morgen nichts gutes wieder"/ " If you don't eat up you won't get good food tomorrow". But very little people in germany know about that.
The town administration of Schwäbisch Hall should definitely pay you. This is great promotion you are doing. City marketing at its best. ;-)
