Two things bug me about this boat. First, there is extensive use of Formica-like fake wood grain, which we all know, can come unglued with hpt/cold cycling and saltwater. Second, the two steps to get into the master bunk could be troublesome at night. This boat is the right size and with her twins, she can giddy-up though.
Thanks Mike! Beneteau and the entire Groupe Beneteau family of boats use a material called Alpi for their cabinetry finishes. I do understand what you mean about veneers. My only though here is they make so many boats and many for the charter industry. While no finish will stand up to this kind of use, the Alpi does a darn good job.
