I have plenty of room for one of those in my bellhousing if theres another one floating around 🤪😁 That thing looks really nice and I would be afraid to get it dirty even though I wouldnt be able to see it🤣 looks like a stout unit . How do u like it so far ? I finally got beans its own personalized tag it reads 79BEAN on a Alabama Crimson Tide plate so it should look pretty cool on beans. Got rained out on picking up pickle this weekend but thinking on doing a blow thru turbo setup and keep it simple but fun 😁
They are great… the organic twin was holding up just fine in the tt14. Just removed it sand replaced with grabbier version of same clutch so we can turn it up with the new magnum…. And, Chris is The Man!
So awesome that you've merged your love of cars and mechanical skills into such a successful channel. My fam has been on the fence about starting a business (nothing car related). Truth is, we skeered lol. Your channel has inspired me to just go for it....
Check the run out on the fly wheel too, mine was .00047 these close alignments make for smooth shifts and long life. The TKX has a front tapered bearing that requires a precise alignment.
Looking forward to the review, need to replace my flywheel this winter, for the price might not be a bad idea to replace the clutch at the same time, very cool looking set up for sure.
I have a boosted s550. I'm not putting down huge power (591 at the wheels) but if the stock clutch ever gives up I'm eyeballing a vengeance. I'm also considering a mcleod or a lethal lpx (I believe it's a mcleod with different materials on the clutch plates). Throw some opinions at me
This clutch worked great in my turbo fox. A little noisy at idle with the clutch disengaged but I read this was normal with twin discs. Otherwise great clutch!
Good to know about an alternative to the McLeod twin disc. I’ve heard a lot people are having problems with the McLeod and setting up the proper spacing.
hey brewl i was just wanting to check in with you on how your vengence clutch is holding up , i have the exact same clutch set up and iam making around 890hp , how much power are you making and does the clutch hold the power well , thanks bud🙏🙏🙏
🔔😎 Maybe it bears mentioning that if somebody's running a pretty stock T5 and has good traction that maybe the clutch should have a little bit of slip when shifting. Agressive instant lock up has damaged quite a few T5. JMO. 😎 YeeHaaw.
@BREW2L How are you liking the TKX now that you have had it for a bit? Does it shift smooth? How does it copare to T-5 vs. TKO? Really appreciate your channel!
Thanks brother. I love the TKX. shifts very similar to a T5 but the shifter from silver sport takes it to the next level! It’s a firm but smooth shift.
Looking forward to see how well this clutch works, I'm with you on using the Spec. Clutches, but when I upgrade to the TKX I will be looking for a better performance clutch
??? was the bellhousing alignment within the .005 tolerance ... I cleaned/grinder with a soft pad the powder coat off and achieved .00015 no offsets needed QUICK TIME
Talking about the weights for the clutch, how do you know which weight to choose from? What is it that allows you to decide which weight to install with the unit?
I’ve got the Spec puck style clutch in my 67 street car that I occasionally take to the track. It’s ok on the street and great on the track. I wish I had ponied up the extra $ for a twin disk though, let us know how you like it!
Chris @ Vengeance here! Hope you enjoy it and have a blast with it! Great video sir and appreciate the in depth video! Thanks man!
I appreciate you guys as well! First test drive coming soon ✊

That's the prettiest clutch I've ever seen. I'm sure it's going to work out well for you .
It is pretty! 😎
That's a nice clutch kit there sir! Can't wait for your first impressions of how it feels! Thanks for all you do for the community.
Thank you guys! I can’t wait to drive it and see how she feels ✊
Clutch looks awesome, by the way, the video quality and editing as of late are an absolute class act. Love it man keep killing it!
Thank you 🙏

Nice choice, have heard a lot of good things about these clutch setup, can't wait to see how it performs,.
P.S. My clutch is a King Cobra from Korea, rated 650 ft. lbs. WORKS GREAT TOO, a hair more pedal pressure
Hey nice video I’m using an atomic twin disc and was wondering how did that setup u have drives I haven’t driven mine yet but it’s identical to urs
Q - I’m assuming if internally balanced , We just don’t add any weight to flywheel ?
Thanks for great info

Might be a great upgrade

I thought I heard a slight noise… I’ve not driven it yet but I did notice something. Not too bad though.
Very cool clutch setup! Definitely looking forward to seeing how this works for the Calypso Fox! 💯👊🏾
✊ me too

Have you been able to get some miles on the new clutch? Any feedback 5 months in? Thanks!

I hope to drive it tonight or tomorrow. So I’ll have you some more input soon
That spool causes some clutch chatter. As me how I know. Just put a spool in mine and it’s noticeably more difficult to take off while turning.
Very true. The slippage was the main issue with mine
??? was the bellhousing alignment within the .005 tolerance ... I cleaned/grinder with a soft pad the powder coat off and achieved .00015 no offsets needed QUICK TIME
Hell if I know 😂 I bolted it up and called it a day. So far so good ✊
@@BREW2LFOXBODY Tremec requires .005 minimum tolerance of alignment with crankshaft or warranty is void FYI

Depends on the balance weight of the engine.
Yeah I was gonna ask the same thing

And the clutch is pretty too.
She is pretty brother!!!!
Hey, I gotta take some man points away from you for having Peppa Pig on in background and drinking Michelob Ultra!! lol
