- This is such a fun board to ride, I was able to forget about everything and just ride. The nimbleness of it at times made me feel like I was on a smaller board or shorter at least lol

Dude, your streets are nuts, it must be so good to ride and train. There ain't 5 meters of straight pavement in my town and 5 seconds without cars passing by.

Still not.sure what to get for this summer
What kind of skating do you like to do? A nice longboard could be fun for some nice carves and cruises. A cruiser board would be cool to “cruise” on but will still have some pop for tricks. It’s such a tough choice
@MadMaxProductions-sx4hu It is. I ride an Eboard since the pandemic and I have a cruiser ( old sector 9) I am also 56 years of age So carving and cruising is what I am looking for. take to the beach and around my hood in NY
@@chichicastepicon8577 eboards are a blast! Just purchased an ebike but I’m looking at the Propel Endeavor GT looks like such a sweet board. So different than anything I have. What do you skate
@MadMaxProductions-sx4hu I have a Backfire Zealot ( the OG) With over 3000 miles on it and it's working great. My daughter gave me an Evolve Hadean for Xmas and I really love it. ( I got lucky with it . a lot of people complain about it) I have 500 miles and no issues.

I just bought the deck only was on sale for 124 cad so I grabbed it. I had a land yachtz I bought in like 2013 crack I had Paris trucks idk which on does not say on it but bought Paris v3 with super reds and still tryna figure out the wheels
Nice! The Paris trucks are really nice, they should give you a very stable ride. For wheels I like orangoutangs, with all the options they have one for every style.
Have you tried out venom/riptide bushings? You should definitely get a bunch and see what duros work best for you. Most stock bushings are 90a which is a good hardness for your weight, but you never know what you will like best until you try them.
Man, your skating has improved. Looking smoother on the board, especially when you get down low. Wondering if you've thought about doing a give away as a competition? 1st prize = the Landyachtz Freedive. I'd definitely enter. Looking forward to your comparison video. I think that would be very interesting.

How do you like this one vs a drop cat. I have a drop cat but want to get something different. I am mostly ride on flat road. Also was considering icarus. Thanks.
Thank you for all the details. I do have a drop cat 33. I did get an icarus and switched to knuckles bushings which makes the board so lively. I do like the Icarus a lot. Tan tien probably would be a good option for me as well. I do like the concave for the feet on an icarus.
Mine came also with a cone/barrel. Then I got double barrel venom 86/83 combo. And then someone recommended knuckles. I really like how soft they are. Trying to learn carving and some light pumping. I tried different wheels caguamas and Kegels. I like the Kegels. May try some smaller wheels. Have you tried any good ones?
