Definitely love when you're authentically you. Personally, I don't visit your page to be entertained. I appreciate how you're open and willing to share both your wins and your losses (what works and what doesn't). As a start-up first-generation farmer, this information is so helpful and I really appreciate the information you share. Thank you! -Brent
As a young small scale produce farmer I appreciate the “how to” videos. The vlog type videos are great too. I think a good mix of both would be ideal. Thanks for bringing us along on the farm.
I like them all, especially when you put it fast mode to see you and everyone zipping around. How to vids are how i found your channel a couple years ago i think they are entertaining because your sense of humor. You have had me laughing when you didnt even crack a smile in your delivery. Your a good teacher so keep teaching.
I personally like your videos that show your trials and tribulations because I can possibly learn something from them. Your growing in plastic did bring a question to mind, how do you deal with weeds in the row middles?
Preface this is my first time seeing any of your videos so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I need the how to's and don't need to be entertained. I subscribed for the very reason there was no hype and rambling. I have seen other you tubers do separate playlist for how to's and vlogs that may be an option for you to cater to both. For me I'll be here for the well done how to's and skip the "day in the life" type videos. Thanks for the content. Enjoyed and learned from it
Justin, i vote to keep using the "how to" approach on your videos. There are already enough entertainers on the tube, lol. I alwasy pick up little helpful bits of info from your videos and that means a lot to me as a market farmer. I would love to see another irrigation video from head to tail, as I am needng to run 900ft. of line to get to a new plot I have laid out this year. My main supply at the house is 60psi., and I'm wondering if the blue lay flat will hold up to that much pressure to run the 900 ft or would I neeed to reduce the pressure down on it a bit in order to use the blue lay flat? Thank you for another great video! I appreciat ethe time you put into these. Justin
Blue layflat will handle 70 psi, but you should take a look at the back of the rainflo catalog to figure up your friction loss over that distance. Good luck, and thanks for watching!
Personally, I enjoy the "real deal" information. I watch to learn...not to be entertained. I am trying to grow Black Krim, Oaxacan pink and Floradade. One Black Krim plant has 40 tomatoes...so far!
I like the how to stuff the plastic laying is new to me this year and it went pretty good but my question is where do you put your tape in relation to the bed middle, on the side and do you put it on top of bed or is it a few inches in the soil ??? Thanks for sharing
I bury the drip about 5"deep in the bed so I don't hit it with the polyplanter. If I'm planting strawberries or broccoli, I put it in the center. If I'm planting tomatoes, I usually slide it to one side so we don't hit it with stakes. Thanks for watching!
Our tomatoes get up to 8 ft tall. We are in Central Illinois not in the south. Should we just top them when they reach the top of the stakes? It looks like you're using 5 ft tall stakes?
50 lbs per acre calcium nitrate per week till fruit set, 15 lbs Epsom Salt mid week between Ca N. then 50 lbs potassium nitrate per week after fruit set

I watch you because your how to. You do a great job dont know how you find time to do videos. I also have a vegetable farm never enough time.
The "How to" is how I found you so would love to see that continue at least in part. But would happily enjoy a vlog style mixed in as well.
Like seeing how you do things. Gives me ideas to change on my place.
Thank you for this video. Vlog type videos are great and ok for me but with how to type educational videos you could catch more viewers.
A nice mix of both would b awesome, but I prefer the how to stuff. I like the knowledge for experienced farmers to help me grow better produce.
I appreciate both! Would be interested to see how much sand ends up in your water system

I have a hooded sprayer for my tractor and I do a lot of walking and spraying with a backpack sprayer

I’ve been going straight down the sides on my tomatoes. I’ll have to try the Florida weave next year. Looks like it would work better.

Love the way you present now. Very educational and practical. Question How long is the time from starting your tomatoes until they get in the field?
The tomatoes we planted last week were seeded 2-24, but they should have been planted mid-April. The weather was too cold
The "how to" videos get my vote. However, any video is appreciated and watched. Thanks !!!
I appreciate the how to stuff

where do you get your wood stakes from? looks great!
I bought our stakes from coastal ag
Enjoy the how to videos

You can prune them and force them to put out suckers that will work. I would use a bactericide after topping them. My stakes are 54"
A friendly approach to keep animals of many types away from the garden would be appreciated. Living on a wildlife interstate is tough on the garden. 😊
What's your nutrient regime for tomatoes? Trying to keep BER out of them are the hardest part it seems like
50 lbs per acre calcium nitrate per week till fruit set, 15 lbs Epsom Salt mid week between Ca N.
then 50 lbs potassium nitrate per week after fruit set
How many lbs of calcium do you start out with on your test? You spread any gypsum before laying plastic?
@Double Branch Farms not sure what you mean about test. I soil test every couple of years, and spread lime accordingly
How'd you guys do with the Mother's Day sale?
It was super busy! Thanks for watching
