Good Day Sir... I don't have a code on my 2015 4300 but I do hear a loud rattling/ grinding noise around the DEF tank area that is getting louder . But after the Air dryer purges,it becomes very quiet. Is this a sign of my DEF pump going bad or normal operation?

That's totally normal. That's the pump emptying the lines back into the tank. It's to prevent freezing/damage to compoents if the DEF does freeze. DEF has a fairly high freezing point.

How many miles is on your truck? Also I see the video of change the def filter like two years ago , did that prevent this issue from happening
The Truck had around 201050 miles. The Filter mainly helped keep the DEF Clean.

4300 on opposite side but is same steps
My def pump makes a whining noise after I use the truck!
