Thank you for the idea; I rarely see men getting their hair colored. I was looking for something like this and it appears that 95% of the videos are of girls getting their hair colored.

What do you suggest in color if someone has very dark virgin hair that looks black and wants a little sun-kissed hair?

Looks good. Whats the best way to get a similar effect of sun bleached highlights on natural blonde hair (dark/medium blonde - around level 7 I think)
Do you need to use bleach or color, what sort of product should I look for? Never done anything to my hair before.
Use bleach on the blonde hair in order to obtain the necessary contrast! Have fun! B
Hey Beth, love the tutorial. Ive been doing my own for a few years. Im sitting here with some tin foil and some colour wondering how I can get better at doing it myself. I see the preciseness you use when separating the hair. It's impossible to make mine this good without a second person over me doing it like that. The salon down the street said 380 if you bring your own products.. or 680 if you use ours. So I'm trying to figure out how to save 550+ bucks right now! Is there any way to "shoe shine" the colour in, and get a similar effect?
That's crazy. I paid $200 USD equivalent and I had a dual process (with brown base) because I'm a level 2

What shade would you recommend for someone who is naturally a level 3n looking for a natural low maintenance color?
2-3 levels lighter are best. so a level 5 brown or 6 ash

You did at least 15 foils, that firs side was already 6 foils and 9 on the other side which was a thicker side
