Everybody is warm to him because he's such a nice person. Also he's so well spoken, I love that he thanked first his fans and even mentioned his fandom name, thanked his personal staff, his celebrity colleagues amd made sure to mention his whole family. Its been a long time coming but that daesang award is better late than never. I really hope he gets to meet the love of his life and have kids, he'll be such a good husband and father.
I know right? I've never seen a celebrity who's so trustworthy. As in, I was so surprised when he took lessons on cooking to help out his future wife. He would be the best husband and the best father!!!

Kjk earned respect from his colleagues by just flexing up his muscles.practically bullying even his sonbae’s. Thanking everybody in accepting an award is basic among entertainers.nothing special about that. Am not a hater, I just speak what I see.

It's true that he exercises exceptionally but he's a really good singer. Contrary to his macho looks he has a really thin voice when singing. And I think more than kjk yoo jae seok and kwang soo often bullied others during running man. Yjs often cut je seok jin off and ks also physically bullied others outside of the games. But kjk never physically bullied others outside of the games. If you watch RM regularly you'd know.

I can’t believe I would be this happy to see him getting this award. We all knew that he deserved it so much. Long overdue award! The fact that he was the one who persuaded members to continue doing running man while the upper level of SBS wanted him and Ji Hyo out meant courage and bravery. It showed that he didn’t care about the haters, he cared about the fans and he knew exactly what he had to do. That’s why I am extremely sad when sometimes fans blamed him for being too aggressive on the show. Guys.. it has been 10 years now. You guys should have known all the members’ behaviors, characters and roles for the sake of the show. All love No hate to our Jong Kook nim.

So true... He's just human who have their own fault. Sometimes he make others terrified, sometimes aggresive but I always remember he's the one who always have each member's back. I heard in the old ep he'd a little angry with one guest in RM who disrespect Jae Suk although maybe he just kinda being playful.

@@bb-gf7so When Gary left, the higher level of SBS variety sector wanted to reform the show by removing Jong kook and Ji hyo then adding Kang Ho Dong. Rumors said that Kang Ho Dong was told KJK and Ji Hyo was leaving the show by their own decisions. Also news stated that KJK and Ji Hyo were leaving the shows. The truth is KJK received termination notice from SBS and Ji Hyo only found out from the news. It was so shocking, inhumane, brutal act and that decision came from one powerful person only. Later on, all of the group members decided to quit if KJK and Ji Hyo were kick out. Then KJK persuaded all of them back to continue doing the show for the sake of fans.

He really deserves the title Commander and Mr. Capable. Plus, he was the one who talked to the fellow members and staff to continue Running Man after that infamous incident. Kudos Kim Jong Kook. 💪

@@ezralu2911 higher people in SBS planned to overhaul RM by "kicking" KJK n SJH while add kang hodong ( 2 national level mc in 1 show reminiscent of x-man) as a fresh new Running man (season 2). Then backlash from fans. Try to compensate, they add sechan n somin to joined and the rest is history.

Yoo Jae Suk was trying so hard to keep his facial expression neutral while announcing the winner. 😂 My favorite thing about Running Man is that the cast aren’t just co-workers, they are family. This includes members that are no longer on the show and those working behind the scenes to produce each and every episode. 💜

I think lee seung gi has won it either... if im not mistaken...hes won 3 daesang music, entertainment and acting...the only person to win all 3 award...but from different broadcast tv...but i may be wrong...ive read it somewhere

@Jordan John Cabarles Yoo Jae Suk has won numerous Daesang, but never won all in the same year. He has won 2 Daesang in the same year twice: 2009 - MBC SBS, 2014 - KBS MBC.
I cried watching this. He deserved it so much. He broke his back (literally he has an herniated disc plus multiple other injuries) for his channel, he was mistreated by the entertainment director and almost fired unilaterally, but thank goodness his members stood with him, and he was able to continue to thrive. SBS should've thanked him a long time ago for all the hard work and pain he has put into their channel. You worked so hard Jong Kook, I'm so happy for you.

damn, i’ve never cried this hard over a winning speech. i love him so much. i love the honesty of the speech, and how he just said what comes out of his heart and especially thanked each person who are important to him. his comment on running man and his parents made me cry harder too. he deserves this so much after all the injuries, backlash, and an almost forceful eviction in running man. people like him are truly a blessing in this world.

I watched this late and so I already knew he was going to get it, but as a long time fan of him, I couldn't help but cry. I am so happy for him. Infinitely well deserved. He works hard, he plays hard, he's such a sweetheart to his mom and women in general, and he's both brainy and brawny. He's dealt with so much physical pain over the years, from his back, to his knees and feet, he's always pushing through and striving hard despite those issues. I'm his forever fan, and I truly hope he stays healthy and happy.

KJK deserved that!!I have been following RM members since Episode 1 (11 years) and watching them every week - they've been through so much and i'm glad that they survive and grow stronger year by year. Even when SBS at that time wanted KJK and SJH out from the show, glad that they sorted it out and did their best. Love them all!
