@@GodisMyNo1 I have a dog who I luv to bits along with three cats who I also luv to bits. They are all very affectionate and loving (and a tad mischievous). 😃
I've got a cat like that. Her name is fluffy she's about 11 years old. She's the most personal cat of my 5 cats as well. Having regular conversations with me. At one time I had 12 cats,,but over the years they passed away from natural causes. One cat that I would feed but I could never get near..Chance was her name,,actually Second Chance was her name but I just called her Chance. She was waiting for me at the door one day with half her fur missing on her lower back. She let me pick her up and go to the Vet. We think she was being chased and she went under a chain link fence catching her skin on the sharp edges. 3 weeks she stayed with me letting me take care of her. Not once did she hiss or scratch me in that time. We also found out that she was pregnant and had 8 kittens. One was still born..I still have 2 of them with me now. The others found homes.
Fluffy was the name of my old cat, sadly she went missing 8 years ago so we assumed she was dead. My parents got her just a little bit before I was born, she was amazing, she never hissed at me or my brother and she never scratched us. She was a literal angel. Reading about your cat made me think about her

Gremlin is such a great name for a cat, and I’m so pleased that this Gremlin got to have a happy life with her devoted Mama, and that she has lots of friends too.
We have six cats (not by design - they just kind of accumulate around here, like dust bunnies), so we totally "get it". Gremlin is irresistible. An adorbs nugget! The other kitties are just gorgeous, too.
@@Victor_Graves Sadly, one of our (actually she was our ex-daughter-in-law's) cats we have had for almost 3 yrs. recently passed, she was very old. But, I also take care of 16 feral cats, out of the 16, 14 are now fixed, 11 females and 3 males are now out of commission, thanks to our great Richmond Animal League spay and neutering for free. I still had to trap them and provide transportation both ways. That number at the cash register for cat food, cat litter, plus dog food for our 3 dogs (thank goodness they are not big dogs), adds up though. All that is left now are 2 feral male cats and there are no females in the area (so far).
I love Gremlin's vocalizations. My current cat has complicated expressions to direct me toward her desired ends. She's a "shadow" tortie (predominately grey instead of black), also a manx with a nub of a tail. Her name is Toyoko-chan, and right now she's between my feet at the computer desk, grooming. A person never stood so tall as when they stooped to pet a cat.
A little bit of love goes a long way ! Gremlin shows that so uniquely it's very special ! Thanks for caring and sharing and yes adoption is the way to go !!
She should be pleased to know that healthy well cared for kitties can live to over twenty! I had one cat that welcomed almost 22yrs! I wish she could have shared my whole life!
That's wonderful! You were soulmates in the true sense, and will always be together. Please may I ask what kind of diet was your cat fed? I have rescued many cats and they were all neutered, however 2 passed due to kidney failure.
@@Liitebulb When they're well cared for, depends of if they're outdoor/indoor and if they're male or female. 11-15 is more of a indoor male, 15-20 is for female. Outdoor cats are more like 10 yo, but they can live longer
Look up, “squish that cat” and you’ll change your mind. Btw it isn’t some morbid thing, it’s a recommendation of how to hold a cat by a veterinarian. But some people have made remixes of it to make it a song and it’s glorious.
I grew up with dogs all my life, and I still love dogs to the point I would volunteer caring for dogs at my local shelter. If it wasn’t for the fact that so many apartments in NYC don’t allow dogs but cats only, I wouldn’t have gotten to know these precious beings. Now I consider my cats as family members and couldn’t live without having cats. I don’t understand who started the false image of cats being aloof and uncaring. Never has that been the case! They want my attention and love cuddles and have their own distinct personalities.
Nothing compares to that heart to heart bond and love( that is so deeply personal) you can share with a cat! They give back 10 fold in terms of loyalty, compassion and depth of knowing how you feel instinctively I could never have made it through after my husband of 40 years passed away in 2017....Bandito was a 4 wk old kitten just thrown into my yard one day and he was in the verge of losing his eyes to infection and eaten up with fleas ..I fell in love with him and he grew into a cared for wonderful friend ..He was there to sit on my lap and love me through the bad days, and slept in my pillow by my head every night It was amazing how his love and concern for my anguish and sorrow brought out such love and compassion for my feelings. ..and I think gratitude and real love too ...I couldn't have done it with out him he was nearly full grown and He was my hero!
A beautiful story. Gremlin does look like she is smiling and having fun. The person who adopted Gremlin is special person too, full of love. Happy for them all.
I love it that she convinced you to save more cats! I was a dog person too...and then I got my Doja cat. Now I've rescued two other cats and they are my life and I'm a CAT PERSON!!!!
Can't people like both? I mean, as an introvert I find cats a bit easier to be around because dogs need constant interaction (in my experience) and I don't always have energy to give to them. But I still think both cats and dogs (and can we bring rabbits into the conversation too?) are fantastic 😁
@@jp9707 I don't get the cat person/dog person divide either. I love both. My sister and I have a dog but I'd personally like to get a cat because they're better suited to my personality.
If you love both dogs and cats, you wouldn’t say that a cat is better suited for your personality .. especially if you have a pet dog already...whichever species you have , is a special part of the family . Many dogs have personalities of cats and many cats have personalities of dogs. . Also, our pets are a reflection of the love they receive from us and they mirror our quirks too.. especially if there’s an emotional connection.
How adorable, I can relate to this story quite a bit, although I have always been a cat person. My current cat, "Goblin" came into my life (she literally ran into my arms from the streets as I was stood at my front door talking to a cat's charity person) when I was having a very hard time and she saved me by giving me her absolute love and affection. Much like Gremlin she has to be near me or cuddling with me and I am so grateful that she chose me that day, I am not sure if I would still be here anymore if she hadn't.
I am glad cats are conquering the hearts of non-cat lovers and dog lovers. Gremlin even inspired her hooman to save more kitties. Cats are love, give them a chance before hating them.
If only dogs could conquer the hearts of cat lovers. But you cat people are obnoxious and you stick only to cats. You are jealous of that unique bond that exists between dogs and their owners. Dogs still are the most affectionate abd most loving/loyal pet in the world. Man's best friend
@@GodisMyNo1 There's enough room in most everyone's heart to love dogs AND cats. The story above, (and many others) prove it. Don't forget she lost her senior dog, Shelby, and ended up with five cats (or more)! A dog person...who discovered she loves cats as well! How cool is that?!
I said the same thing!!!! At first glance, I thought it was an old post of Bub and then I realized it was her double. Bub was my favorite cat of all time and now she’s in space!😞 Mr Marbles is the new cat and he has taken her spot in raising money for the shelters. I’m glad he still has that fund going.
Gremlin looks at you so lovingly, she’s definitely a little angel cat. It’s such a wonderful thing you’ve done by rescuing all those felines, I hope those whiskers bring you all the luck in the world 💗🤍.
I love Gremlin. Such a beautiful cat in all ways. Reminds me of my Mow Mow who went through 5 different owners cause no one wanted him. He was old and scruffy. But.. ....he was the best cat I've ever had. So loving and would sit on my chest every day when I got home till we would both fall asleep. Sadly...we both only had 3 years together as he passed away due to health issues. I miss him dearly and visit him in the mountains every weekend .
I'm glad you decided to adopt Gremlin, that poor kitty needed someone to take care of her and you ended up being a mother figure for her fortunately. It makes me so happy to see that you got more kitties to have as friends for Gremlin...
that's how you get a "cuddler" cat, get them as kittens and handle them as much as possible. just like my little lady Sox. this lady is an angel btw. how freaking awesome!
Adult cats can be cuddlers too! My sweet Maggie was found as a momma cat and after her kittens were grown and she was done with motherhood she joined our home and now she gets to be the kitten! She snuggles and head butts all the time and crawls up with her paws on our shoulders like a burping baby 🥰
sometimes they can grow to be cuddlers... my cat only used to lay on people sometimes, but now since she turned about 15 a few years ago she gets under the covers and wants to be held
Beautiful story! A pleasure to watch someone become a "cat person"! Gremlin might seem like a "senior" to you but she is half the age of my girl who will be 19 years old May 13, 2022!
Anything older than 8 is technically senior! However you are right they can live quite a long time. There are documented cases of cats living more than 30 years.
Be eternally blessed with Love and Light for rescuing all these beautiful adoooorable cats... Love and Light to You and all your cats... Love and Light...
Beautiful Gremlin 😻. Have to say, I nearly spat out my tea when she described her nine year old cat as technically senior! Beyond accidents or disease, this lucky cat will be with her for a lot longer yet! Thanks for the awesome vid x
We've had cats live into their 20s so when my vet told me my approximately 10 year old (at the time) cat Mama was a senior I couldn't believe it. She was an adult feral with eight kittens when she chose me. These cats are super tough and hardy so I'm hoping she'll be around for many years to come. I just wish she'd use the litter box and not go outside at all but it's not happening. I've lost too many to cars, coyotes, mountain lions, etc... My girl Mama almost died twice from two separate attacks, one coyote, one cat, but thankfully these days she stays very close to home. I still worry every time she steps out the door though. I'm an overprotective helicopter pet parent and I'm not ashamed to say it! 😄
@@roseannarios7312 me too! Mine is outfitted with a tracker which subdues the paranoia. Ironically, she loves to stay close to home but she’s kept in at night. Total helicopter parent here!
@@elunedlaine8661 may you continue to have many many more happy years with your kitties. From my experience, they will live ‘til their 20s more often than not. To be fair though, they can make it tricky for us to keep them safe sometimes!
@@nickic8759 Ohhhh the tracker. 🤣🤣🤣 I was going to buy it but thankfully I had tried a regular breakaway collar first, two actually with her name tag and my contact info and everything. Had to order a new name tag mind you. She went out once each time and came back collar free. The big monkey! 😂 The second one was actually quite traumatizing for us both though. Not sure if she did this on purpose or not but she got her collar stuck on a ladder that was lying on the ground. She started doing death rolls like an alligator or crocodile. Instead of the collar breaking away, it was twisting and strangling her. Thankfully I happened to walk around that side of the house when this was happening. It was the scariest thing to ever have to watch. Needless to say, I'm never putting another collar on her ever again. She is microchipped though! I've actually looked up chipping her with a GPS. Lol. I still wish there was something I could do so that people would know she's my spayed pet and no longer a feral. Thankfully, these days she also hangs around the house most of the time and is actually indoors a lot, most definitely at night.
It melts me to see people make such deep connections with animals. I once had a little calico and she was my little baby. The purest little being to ever exist she was. She chirped more than meowed. She enjoyed watching lights. Eventually we let her and our other cat outside and she would bring back mice to the doorstep because I was such a bad hunter and couldn't catch any for myself
Gremlin is irresistable! Her loving gestures and vocalizations melt my heart. Thank you for giving kitties a chance and I'm so sorry about Shelby. I'm glad your pup was able to have anither furry friend though ❤🌹

What a beautiful life you gave Gremlin. I got sucked in too. I have 4 rescued cats, one was a kitten found in the street. He was just a few weeks old and still needed maternal milk. And I saw fostering a litter of 5 kittens at the time. And it was perfect for Bean who was terrified and instantly fit In with the others kittens who were 2 weeks older than him.

@@estibon3872 hearin ya. My youngest is the same with the butt scratch. Borders on obscene. My fluffy cat luvs it when her tail is in the air and we use both hands to rough it up - from butt to tip. And our old cat luvs rough chin scratches. REALLY rough. All so different but same amount of luv. 😁💖 Lovable little weirdos.
If only a single dog could change cat people's perspective on dogs. But you cat people dont love dogs no matter what. It doesnt matter to you that dogs are the most affectionate and loyal pet
@@GodisMyNo1 I have a dog who I luv to bits along with three cats who I also luv to bits. They are all very affectionate and loving (and a tad mischievous). 😃
Gremlin is so BEAUTIFUL......a TOTAL SWEETHEART! All of your cats are SO BEAUTIFUL.
The others found homes.
that's both awful and awesome. so glad chance had you to help her, thank you for taking care of the kitties!

Fluffy was the name of my old cat, sadly she went missing 8 years ago so we assumed she was dead. My parents got her just a little bit before I was born, she was amazing, she never hissed at me or my brother and she never scratched us. She was a literal angel. Reading about your cat made me think about her
Ohh I was 7 at that time @@pommefine

Gremlin is such a great name for a cat, and I’m so pleased that this Gremlin got to have a happy life with her devoted Mama, and that she has lots of friends too.
What a beautiful relationship Gremlin and her adopted Mom have, all these beautiful adopted cats seem to get along so well 💞💞💞💞
She is beautiful. Thank you for adopting her God bless you
Gremlin's deformity makes her all the more beautiful and you two are lucky to have found each other.
You gave Gremlin the love she deserved, plus some new kitty relatives. Everyone deserves a loving family.
We have six cats (not by design - they just kind of accumulate around here, like dust bunnies), so we totally "get it". Gremlin is irresistible. An adorbs nugget! The other kitties are just gorgeous, too.
Fifteen
@@Violet316 wow . , bless
The same thing happens to us but we are a bit further down the road at fifteen. Nobody is turned away.
This is us too. Cats are just magnetically attracted to our house lol
Cats bring so much joy to people's lives. Gremlin is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
What a beautiful thing to say! 👍👍👍👍😸😸😺😺😺
You're very lucky. We were lucky ours lived to 17. 11-15 is usually when they go.
@@Liitebulb When they're well cared for, depends of if they're outdoor/indoor and if they're male or female. 11-15 is more of a indoor male, 15-20 is for female. Outdoor cats are more like 10 yo, but they can live longer
My granny had a cat called Sooty and she was 22 also when she passed on but she definitely went through her 9 lives ❤️
@YT and FB vaffanculo Which is honestly old, but great for him! ^^
I really like how gentle she is with her cats.
Cats need to be handled gently.
Not necessarily some cats really like to roughhouse. It just depends on the cat. But they will let you know what they like and dislike.
Some cats do
Look up, “squish that cat” and you’ll change your mind.
Btw it isn’t some morbid thing, it’s a recommendation of how to hold a cat by a veterinarian. But some people have made remixes of it to make it a song and it’s glorious.
Gremlin was so lucky to found you. Thank you for adopting these beautiful little creatures. Your dog was a sweety. I wish you all the best.
Oh man, this one really hit me in the feels. That little cat and her Mom and family are so full of love, it makes my chest hurt.
This is honestly just beautiful.. they all got their fair share of love they deserve
You both are so in sync it comes through the video. May your lives continue to enrich each other. That's some good love.
Oh my gosh, she is adorable!!! Love her little tongue always dangling out, it’s so cute!! 💕 also love her meows, they are incredibly lovely.
I'm an animal person.
If you loved dogs previously, why do you have to stop loving them now that you love cats? Cant you love both dogs and cats??
You rescued her and she knows that. You earned her respect and she'll love you until the day she no longer can.
OMG!!!!!!!!! She reminds me of Lil Bub so much!!!... the little pinky tongue sticking out and the squeaky meow... LOL!!!!!
I immediately had the same thought!
Exactly what I thought! She should tag Bub on any of Gremlin’s accounts, and if she doesn’t have any, she should!.
That was my first thought! 💕
Same. RIP Lil Bub
Such a beautiful relationship. What a precious little gift Gremlin turned out to be and looks like she found the best mom possible too.
I'm so glad you saved her! She's so adorable and it's great her gave siblings! What a beautiful family!
She is just so adorable and precious! You are an Angel to give her and the others such a wonderful and loving home!
I'm glad you decided to adopt Gremlin, that poor kitty needed someone to take care of her and you ended up being a mother figure for her fortunately. It makes me so happy to see that you got more kitties to have as friends for Gremlin...
All cats are beautiful in their own way this cat is so sweet and thank you so much for adopting her and giving her a good home
that's how you get a "cuddler" cat, get them as kittens and handle them as much as possible. just like my little lady Sox. this lady is an angel btw. how freaking awesome!
It also just depends on personality. Not every cat is going to be like that.
You are wonderful dear. Rescuing a being in need builds our spirits. They never forget kindness.
Beautiful story! A pleasure to watch someone become a "cat person"! Gremlin might seem like a "senior" to you but she is half the age of my girl who will be 19 years old May 13, 2022!
hope your girl is doing good.
@@mateo335 Thank you Mateo! She is still hanging in there! I fully expect her to make it to her 20th birthday on May 13, 2023 😸

Thank you for being so great with Gremlin.

Beautiful Gremlin 😻. Have to say, I nearly spat out my tea when she described her nine year old cat as technically senior! Beyond accidents or disease, this lucky cat will be with her for a lot longer yet! Thanks for the awesome vid x
My oldest cat died when she was 22. The cats I have now are aged between 2 and 14 years
We've had cats live into their 20s so when my vet told me my approximately 10 year old (at the time) cat Mama was a senior I couldn't believe it.
We’ve got an 18 month old and a 17 year old, who astounds the vet when she goes in, he can’t believe her age as she’s so healthy.
What a lovely, sweet kitty Gremlin is. And she found the sweetest mom xxx

What sweet and compassionate person you are .
This burns my heart in a good way. Such a cute meow from Gremlin.
Trust me on this: Gremlin will be a better listener than any of your friends, and after a while, her responses will make more sense to you than theirs'. My wife has two lovely female cats, and they never talk politics or religion, plus they are great at being themselves. Sure, they can lay in my lap all day, but let a bird or a bug go by & off they are off to the chase. Predictable, intelligent & they never let you down.
Rescuing a cat is nearly always rewarded with a sweet personality.
She is so, sooooo adorable!!!! Bless your heart for saving that precious little girl & the others❤️!!!! May God bless you and may many great things come your way!!!!
Edit: RIP Shelby💕💞💕
