I've been meaning to comment on this for a couple days now. The thing I love about all of your music is that, especially if you understand the vibe you're going for, you can't do anything but BOP to what you've created. Some songs produce melancholic notes, others make you reminisce on life, and then (at least what I find), there are the songs that hit absolutely every check on the list in terms of replay value, background detail, and heartfelt meanings and "hints". This is one of those songs. I'll admit, the lyrics did not jive with me on my first listen. When I replayed it, however, it started to click. Play after play, minute after minute, everything started to piece itself together to create pure bliss to my ears! The tempo is broken up at times, but ALWAYS comes back together at the chorus. The more you listen to the vocals and lyrics, the more you understand a story of taking the initiative; the start of a new journey, taking all that's before you in stride, and "running the super marathon" without any doubt in your confidence. That aforementioned chorus, too, if I may say, STEALS the show! Especially during the last set, the volume goes to max when the "up and down" matches up with the ending notes. The xylophone (I believe it is?) during the chorus, too, ties it all back to Mario and his wacky adventures -- it is such a GREAT detail, including the backing in general! Call me cheesy if you wish, but songs like these continue to inspire me to keep trying -- to keep going -- to be as strong as you can be. It's a celebration of our journeys, and Mario's! It's a testament to how far you, Charlie, have also come. Your music has always been GREAT, but this is another step up. I'll be listening to this for the rest of time. This will be on my "music rewind" that UA-cam is sure to do come the end of spring. Keep up the AMAZING work

Mario has always been apart of my childhood, with the movie itself newly arrived in theaters. I plan to see it with my dad! This song is just so perfect, it feels nice to listen to, I can have it on repeat and not get bored, it feels like Mario, and the animation is good as well. I love both that whistle that makes it sound like a carefree 2010's song, I love the motif throughout the song sound a little like Inside the Castle Walls (peach's castle theme), and I love the fact that CG5 is still making great songs to this day.

Mario has always been apart of my childhood, with the movie itself newly arrived in theaters. I plan to see it with my dad! My mom even said that Mario Bros have been around for a long time since I was born. :) And she's right! I've always loved the bros' adventures- From saving Princess Peach from Bowser to saving the world itself!! :3 I'm glad you made this music video. This song is just so perfect, it feels nice to listen to, I can have it on repeat and not get bored, it feels like Mario, and the animation is good as well. I love both that whistle that makes it sound like a carefree 2010's song, I love the motif throughout the song sound a little like Inside the Castle Walls (peach's castle theme), and I love the fact that CG5 is still making great songs to this day.
