Rob Austin ok so In a normal game, if they hit a home run and win they have the mini fireworks/bombs and the train only moves one time and the game ends. Of course the train moves backwards when nobody is there so they can prepare for the next game some other day.
i dont know what Nix is talking about. the train can and will run back and forth several times a game depending on how many home runs the astros hit. usually when theres a break in the action the train will slowly reverse back into its starting place and wait for another home run.
Hilarious. Just finished watching Atlanta win the World Series and I never remember seeing that train move or blow the horn once. Guess it had no reason. Go Braves! 😁
It's in a baseball stadium... What, you thought this was like the Union Pacific Railroad mainline with like hundred car trains or something? lol. Nice I dont think they would do that because what if It fell...
The shorter the track, the fewer cars you can have so that the train has room to move. As a model train guy who is usually restricted to running them slowly on shelves, I can attest to that problem.
Unless you're there. The ballpark sits behind historic Union Station. With the roof closed and after a homerun, that train whistle can really keep a rally going.
Union Station is behind the engine on the left,,,
Im a White Sox fan but I really, like really wanna conduct the train - it seems fun tbh, idk how it does but it just seems like it
What happens when the train gets to the end? For every home run do they run the whole track?
Rob Austin the train like goes to a little hole/tunnel and stay there for the rest of the game if there is fireworks.
@@LeviClears So the train can only run one time? and once it goes in the hole it will not come out? it never goes backwards? i'm confused..

@@LeviClears that’s not correct. the train can move forwards and backwards as many times as it wants

Yup its the 4-4-0 General
that's one slow train
Allows for a few train whistles to irritate an apposing pitcher that may want to get back to pictching. Often results in back to back homers.
Yep its the General
I wonder where the train figured into the astros cheating? Maybe two toots means curveball?
No cars?!

It's a better design than what you can think of
