Saving a baby hedgehog no better day than that. What a cutie it was. That was quite the fall into the hedge, I hope you are not too sore after that. At my age I'd be down for days recouping. Bravo to you both. Take care from Laura in Canada

Hi Laura, hope you’re doing well, there’s loads of hedgehogs at my plot and come autumn I weigh them as some are too small to hibernate and I over winter them at home( I can’t see animals suffer 😢)
I was sore from the fall and black and blue down my right leg but it’s ok now. We’ve just got back from the plot been turning the compost bays and a couple of drinks as it’s my last day off work 😕 but getting jobs done ready for next year ☺️🙏 take care from Debbie xx

@@debbieginge Good Evening over there across the pond from me. I'm happy to hear your feeling better from the fall. The compost bins are the worst job on a plot or in my garden because it is so labor intensive for me to turn the heavy compost from my bins. I've started to remove my bin which is open at the bottom on to a tarp and flip it back and forth that way. Then gather up the four corners of the tarp containing the compost if not too full, and dump it back to the bin. otherwise I would not be up to the task of turning the compost. My poor old back stops me in my tracks and won't let me LOL.. It's been in the 30's C here all week and will be for the rest of the week. All my plants are under shade cloth to save them from the sun and heat. Hope you have a good rest of the week and take care, from Laura in Canada

@@FoodThymeAndGarden great idea using the tarp think I may try that 😊 I’ve probably picked the best year not to grow anything as it’s done nothing but rain and cold here and we’re still putting our heating on in July 😬 xx
