disagree. This song is Polo's most psychiatric song, in my opinion. Bringing up getting molested as a child and that changing the way you play with toys? So deep and true. Add that to discussing how trauma has him fucked up where he's mentally unstable and how it affects his relationships. This is the realest shit, psychiatrically speaking, in my opinion. That being said, everyone has different trauma and connects with the songs differently based on that trauma, so we could all be right based on our experiences

You should listen to "G Herbo - PTSD ft Juice WRLD, Chance the Rapper and Lil Uzi Vert", it's a song about PTSD and what they've been through growing up in Chicago (at least Juice, Chance and G Herbo, since they all grew up there) and it has one of my favorite Juice WRLD hooks of all time and was released two or three months after his death, so it was one of the first songs/features to come out posthumously

Many of the lyrics in this song relate to (the death of) Juice WRLD. Polo G was one of his closest friends and they worked on lots of projects together. This song was also released with an album, just shortly after Juice's death.
I think it was the second verse where he explains events from Juice's childhood and how those influenced his life (at least that's what I think he's telling here, could also be stories from his own childhood). In the refrain the first two lines also refer to his relationship with Juice. "Dirty sprite share" means "sipping" lean together, a mixture of codeine cough sirup and sprite which is famously used by many rappers. Furthermore, Polo G saying that "[He] was one of a kind, i know your type rare" is an allusion to Juice's rare talent of freestyling practically forever and thus coming up with hit songs in an instance.
In case you are still reading: I want to say how much I appreciate all of your videos and how much joy it brings me to see you actually listen to these people, enjoy the music and care for their feelings. Seeing that and hearing from what you have to say about some of the lyrics has actually helped me with some of the thoughts and struggles that have been on my mind lately, and I am incredibly thankful for that. On god the Chorus is 100% about juice “bonding over pain and dirty sprites yea, my dog was one of a kind I know yo type rare, I know life is a bitch and she don’t fight fair how the fuck I wake up from a dream to a nightmare” he was talking about waking up and hearing the news juice died “I know you walking up to heaven on them white stairs why I can’t just pull up to yo crib and see you right there” meaning he wishs it wasn’t true
@@masonburns1539 The first part maybe, but the second part hell no lmao. Juice was not molested as a baby boy and the street shit? Hell nah, juice was not even allowed to listen to rap due to his strict mom's parenting. Polo is referring to his friend Gucci who died during his childhood.

Few years ago my family was having some issues, during that time I got into legal trouble and was ordered by the court to see a therapist once a week for 6 months or longer if I needed for cognitive behavioral therapy. I didn’t want to do it at first because it’s nerve racking and awkward starting out. But I enjoyed being able to vent my emotions and issues that I’ve kept pent up for 17 years. I still have a few lingering issues but having someone to just listen with an open mind really helped.
That’s awesome I’m glad you’ve gotten help man
One good therapist changed my life. I recommend to anyone who feels they may need it, to try it. But also look around and find someone who really fits you.

Great video! Been on polo g since the goat came out in 2020, definitely in my top 10 artists. If you plan on doing more polo g videos, bloody canvas would be a great one. Lots of meaning behind the lyrics, lots of things that I think you'd enjoy

I come from crack head parents and never met my father. I'm a black law abiding citizen but i was robbed and shot 4 times in 2020 and I almost died, then I got covid. Fed ex my job for over 4 years fired me because i couldnt wrk shot tf up. So when polo said "he wanna stand over a nigga and leave his face destroyed" I felt that.

Juice wrld, lil Uzi, polo g, trippie redd, and xxx have been my favorite artists in my lifetime. As you can tell I’m a young rap fan but these guys r amazing artists.
You should react to the 27 club by juice wrld; also the beginning of the song is about juice wrld as they used to live 15 minutes apart and polo g used to go visit juice wrld a lot.
