That's not a flame out that's an operator stall, try three teeth larger rear sprocket. You can go down one in front as I planned too (easy to change for riding types trailside even) but when I got mine I realized that it would really wear on the chain guide
I'm already +2 on the rear. Not going any larger as I still ride on the road a lot. Not sure it's operator as I do the same thing 10 times and 2 of those times it dies.
The tablet is a Samsung a7 lite which i picked up used for 70 bucks. It's a decent tablet but lacks the screen brightness needed in direct sunlight. I'm using Gaia free GPS app to record where I ride, it works well. The mount was based off everides video using intertube rubber straps but I designed and 3d printed a mount the tablet locks into.
Did you get the ECU remapped so it won't flame out sir? Also didn't they fix the ABS so that it remains in the last state? I thought that was an update.
I agree. Highway riding won't be fun on it due to its weight but it shines everywhere else. I've been extra hard on it since day 1 to test reliability. It got the "hard break in" procedure.
@@TMBchopshop Weight? Highway riding only ever sucks because of bad ergonomics, bad wind protection, bad vibrations, bad gear spread, not enough power. This bike ought to do about as good or a bit better than a KTM 690 on the highway right? edit: You were doing really good on those rock steps too! But the bike was built for rally: Fast open terrain! That pipe is a lot more exposed than any hard enduro bike I've seen. And the skidplates aren't meant for rock hopping either.

Ha sido probada en el Dakar 2024 , esta a la par de las Ktm 450 Rally y las Honda 450 rally , absolutamente a la par en rendimiento y confiabildad y por un precio muy inferior.
Keep working on it. Flame out is when you are high rpm and decelerate rapidly (clutch in and coast type thing) and it dies I havent seen the Kove do that yet in my riding or your video
Did you employ "Everide's" way of mounting that tablet ? Looks like the lights need adjusting upwards. Can you purchase just the damper mount separately ? Thanks for the vid, keep it up!
Kind of. I use the rubber straps to hold the tablet in. I designed and 3d printed a mount that clips into the tower and keys into the back of the tablet case. This mount angles the screen upwards to match the angle of the stock dash.
Best Test Yet! Thanks for sharing. Think they've got a remap for the ECU available. I'm in Upstate S.C. where are you riding? Near Chatanooga I assume, I need to come out there. Did you buy from a local shop or direct?
Yep I'm in chattanooga. I'm planning on a remap when I build the exhaust. I go out to Walhalla on occasion if you know where that is. I ordered the bike from Gary Goodwin at gpx in Utah and had it 3 days later.
@TMBchopshop I'm in Greenville, not too far from Walhalla. Wow, 3 days shipped from Utah is quick. Your video is the hardest I've seen that bike ridden so far! Looks like it can take the abuse.
The rockiest bits here are definitely hard enduro, look tough and the camera never does it justice. A friend with the 450 Rally has ordered a 51 tooth sprocket to help with slower bits and is waiting for a remap offering to help in the slow stuff.
Yah the camera makes everything look easy. I just picked up a used ktm 51 and 52 tooth sprocket to try from a friend's shop. I'm pretty sure there are already tunes avaliable.
may want to reconsider the title bud - this is not hard enduro, this is trail riding, slowly - as for the 'flame out', that is you and not the bike - it is designed to run higher in revs, this is how rally bikes like to operate, design, it is not a low speed trail bike - the clue is in the name ;-)
Have you watched the entire video? I cover these topics in the video? Have you ridden one of these bikes? The fueling is very poor under 4k rpm and it likes to stall. I agree the bike isn't made for this, which I talk about in the video.
Your doing really well there. The bike is ace. 12 tooth front sprocket and knobblies and youll be up anything
Great video mate, you’ve got a really good playground there 🙌🏼
Great video. Seems like the bike is pretty easy to pick up. Think I may have to get one!
It feels lighter than it is, and the fuel is down low. I'm really enjoying it.
Also I fell over at least 5 times in the video but I didn't show them all. It was a little too long and boring.

Thanks for some more perspective on this bike :-)
Can you give us a run down of your tablet setup and mapping software you use, please?

Looks hard enough! They do well in terrain like this. Quite the little chuggers
Hi , I'm getting one soon, which handguard you're using and what's the size of that tablet and how did you fix it ? Thanks

Nice video about time someone takes one of these on a ride through trails like i ride instead of open fields or sand
Then those people are taking it to the places where it does not belong ;-) Still nice to see that bike can handle it, but is wasting of its potential.
This bike is just amazing. It is the true unicorn rally/ light adventure bike.
Lets hope time will prove its reliability.

What's up brother, I'm in Mid Tenn, were you able to get your Rally plated?
Yep just went to the tag office and gave them the MSO and around 700 dollars. Walked out with a tag and got a title in the mail a few days later.

80% rider 10% bike 10% weather ;) but put enduro boots please, so we can be sure to see other videos :)
I'm planning on picking up some gear from some black Friday sales.
I know that spot. Windrock??
I'm about 1.5 hours south of windrock. I've taken my 4x4s there alot but never been on a bike. Maybe it's time to try it.

From 11:30-15:00 is what that bike is designed for out of the box.
Hard Enduro??
Looks like a leisurely trail ride
Thats NOT Idaho hard Enduro for sure!

ABS on a dirt bike is STUPID!!!
Agreed. I think it's part of trying to make the bike DOT compliant.
@@TMBchopshop The 450L IIRC has no ABS
Necessary for global production. Pull the fuse.
Shit .. ! I can go harder on my ag 200 mate.. you just can't ride.! Anyway the bike deserves better than that crap you putting up against..
