Solid recommendations. I would also add "HYDRATE". Save money by bring a Water bottle and utilize the refill stations around the park. Bring ay least one meal and/or snacks. A sandwich is a nice option. Rent a locker so you don't have to drag everything around. Prioritize three "E-ticket" rides, for the beginning of the day. Identify low demand rides to fill out the day(Monorail , Disneyland railroad etc.
Nice additions! Sounds like you think right along the same lines that we do.
We took a nap with my first kid it was so worth it specially with a toddler! No break down crying and no sleeping in the stroller.
Not gonna lie, last time I went (without kids) I took mid-day myself 😂 Totally made the second half of the day easier!
Have you heard of PNW Mouse Meet? Curious what it's like if you've been
I've not heard of it, but I'll definitely look into what it's all about!
as always awesome videos :)
🙏
Hmmm, dieting is mistake? Don't agree!. There are so many yummy options (Bengal bbq, for heaven's sakes) that you can eat quite well and not feel slighted!!! I do agree, lol, on nap time/resting though.
For me personally, food is one of my favorite parts about going to Disneyland. Sure, there are healthy options, but those aren't necessarily the fun options, lol. I'd rather just take a break from eating healthy for a few days and enjoy the junk food. But then again, that's the cool thing about going to the parks, there's a unique experience about any way you approach your vacation. Something to be enjoyed by everyone!
Love your videos. Doing first Disneyland trip end of August. Park hour calendar says park closes at 9pm but the fireworks and world of color aren't until 9:30, how does that work?
The hours will adjust as you get closer to the date. They only post about 45 days out. Generally it's 8am (rope drop) to midnight.
There may be a special event on the calendar for that date. If that's the case, then the parks will close to everyone who doesn't have an event ticket. Also, the parks have separate operating hours, so it would be worth your time to look that over as well.
It’s better to over budget vs under budgeting
I err on the side of over budgeting on food
Use Disney gift cards for family members. This allows them to spend inside and outside the park at Disney stores or Disney Hotel properties for food and merch.
Don’t let Genie + run you all over the parks to the point where you miss out on the shops, smells and magic
Great tips!
Great video! But honestly just avoid that place altogether. It’s become an overcrowded money grab with little concern about the experience.
Sadly, that's becoming more apparent in recent years. There's still enough nostalgia for me to enjoy it, but I can see why others may not have the same experience.
can you rope drop using the art bus?
Depends on when the bus is running. As long as you can get to the parks at least 30 mins before opening, you should be good to go.
