I don't know why, but I really have the feeling that people overestimate EU this year. I think our teams suck and I could actualy see them not passing the group stage.
They are ranked 5th, I dont think that’s too good, I could maybe make an argument that it’s mad first then EDG then fpx then RNG and DWG because of MSI and how mad lions have significantly improved and Mad beat rogue like teams like EDG and FPX have LWX and DWG have Ghost and Beryl and Khan. Rng have Cryin and Wei controlled by Ming like Tian by Doinb. Xiaohu good at out of laning team fights but loses to even BioPanther in lane.
I’m ok with MAD being on fifth maybe, but Fanatic and Rogue are no where close LPL and LCK 4 seeds IMO.
People are definitely overrating Fanatic, but atleast people know how bad Rogue is.
and here I thought that was pretty bad for Eu, maybe GenG can upset
I have the exact opposite feeling..people underestimate EU and especially rogue and fnatic. Western teams generally power the fk up during this month by scrimming against eastern teams. If two teams are generally overrated i'd say T1 and geng are really damn overrated for how bad they played during playoffs.. LCK is heavily dominated by damwon this year

It was a close series where fpx had an awful Start then almost turned it and basically had game 4 in the bag and then pulled off a throw that even fnatic could be proud of
If this kind of throw happened once, then I would also put fpx over edg but they did the massivly underperformed in Spring finals too. They smurfed both splits, came in from winner's bracket and just underperformed in finals in both splits. So i am a little pessimistic in their rating. They have the caliber to be better but are choking in key moments
I personally think that FPX EDG and RNG are on the same level, it depends on how they show up on that day and they all rely outplays to beat each other. I would put DK slightly below them tbh
Lwx is trash, everyone sane knows that. Doinb, Tian and Nuguri are excellent, top-tier players but when the meta doesn't allow them to carry Lwx there's no FPX.
Feel like PSG is too low if they get good Draws
Agree with the rest even though I think RNG are gonna take it all it would be unreasonable to put them higher right now
For me personally, FPX,DWG,EDG,RNG,MAD,T1,Gen.G,FNC,HLE,RGE,LNG.
Edit: I might be a little biased FNC for placing them behind T1 and Gen.G but actually I feel they are all really close. I gave the slightest edge to T1 for their top lane and Gen.G for their mid lane.
Why FPX above EDG ?
@@robelbeyenemayzser5312 Well, I honestly believe Doinb is the game changer for me in choosing FPX > EDG.
I know that Scout and Viper are equally as good and the series went 3-1. You can say that there is bias-ness involved however Doinb time and time again showed me he can actually lead his team and carried them single-handedly.

As someone who watches lpl and lck if korea plays the same way they have played in summer they dont stand a chance agains any of the chinese teams, expecially dmw they are over rated the only consistent player on the team is showmaker and canyon has a good game here and there and khan, ghost and beril ran it dow the whole summe except for the last 2 series
I feel like LPL Top 3 are all better than LCK Top 3, and even the best of Western teams is below these 6. Maybe EU and NA are worse than LNG and HLE too.
I'm surprised that people rate T1 that low considering the squad they have and how close their series against DWG was.

Agree. And the meta favors ghost too compare to MSI where ghost is force to play tristana and kaisa. His ashe and ziggs is insane in finals but t1 made the game competitive.
I think they're ranking is okay for now. They're still a bit in the gray area for me. Like we haven't yet seen the best they could be, if that makes sense.

and list T1 a little bit higher, because if they fix their questionable macro and shotcalling, They are Damwon level..
Fnatic is better than those 2 KR teams they play way faster.

Fanatic still have a long time for them to perfect this style, Right now half of their games looks pretty much like a circus.
Only teams that are able to pull this style is LPL teams, for now LEC only contender is MAD lions, FNC and RGE are irrelevant.

cause they're. Their Macro is still better than anyone . Fpx Is really good at outperforming but they still have flaws and EDG proved that in finals and personally i think RNG is better than EDG . DK>FPX>RNG>EDG

Consistency, LPL skill ceiling is so incredibly high and scary AF but they are always known for their lack of consistency.
Which is understandable because of how their playstyle is, extremely aggressive and high punish, sometimes this playstyle ends up in coinflipping.

It’s crazy how one good series for EDG and people already listing them high, EDG is GenG level IMO talented players, high skill ceiling, but always chokes and disappoints when it’s important.

This is coming from a LCK fan and I just wanna know if I should get my hopes up for DWG actually being the best. Cos right now, I think Doinb and Tian are performing better considering they are up against EDG, LNG, RNG etc.

hard disagree , fpx way of winning games is doinb/crisp 1v9 games , until they resolve their issues on the topside of the map with tian/nuguri griefing each other, fpx would lose most of the times by an in-form edg

The reason why I think MAD is ahead is 1) RNG a really slumped and couldn’t find their footing all summer season, 2) they beat WE but WE was slumping super hard and got exposed against better opponents and I think they were way over performing, 3) cryin is not playing well and at this point I would rather take humanoid eiyoya duo over RNG jg mid. Now if RNG beat MAD would I be surprised? No. RNG is a great team. I think they are a top five team in the worlds. But MAD is one of the best mid to late team fighting team in the world and that usually translates to a lot of wins at worlds. But again RNG is a great team. Wouldn’t be surprised if they beat MAD.
@@jaspersuh I feel like RNG can win through toplane alone and Xiaohu hard claps/gaps/detroys Armut if not camped. If he is camped, then Gala can take over the game due to MAD's volatile botlane and maybe even Crying if he's on a good game.

It’s called a prediction, this is his educated guess on the worlds power rankings, last year no one thought Sunning would make it to playoffs, they got 2nd place at worlds. Literally were like a 4th seed LPL. Made it to 2nd place. Anything can happen
