100% correct. Broly is a better singular defensive and offensive unit than beast gohan just without the team protector ability (which does count for something). With lr int broly's domain protecting the team, his revive, cell max's turn 4 active and now bio broly's turn 6 late game team protector ability (and fat buu's revive if you want to run him) I think it's safe to say teq lr broly shines better than cell max top to bottom on the team, and it's one of the best teams in the game no doubt now.
When Cell Max starts to age out, he will become almost instantly useless. He has no defense raise on super and has to be hit to raise it. The first hit he takes is going to start becoming lethal to the point you will not be able to build him up.
Teq Broly is just straight up a better beast minus the Target ability. But then again beast can die during his active

“With each turn passed” is the same phrasing LR Golden Frieza has, so his damage reduction will go up even when he’s not on rotation starting from when he first appears. So if you keep him on rotation after his first turn, when he comes back he’ll have 3 stacks of his damage reduction. Thats why you want to float him off, because when he comes back he’s going to have gotten all but one of his DR stacks. Then his next appearance you’ll need to use his target mechanic because he will also have lost damage reduction at the same rate. Here’s how it’s going to work so people can visualize.
Numbers for turns from turn 1 SoB (assuming floating off)
1.) 6% stack
4.) 24% stack
5.) Max Passive Turn
(Not on rotation) 30%
6.) 30% (Active Skill now usable)
7.) 24% (now losing DR)(Use Active now)(will tank Goku & Frieza easily)
8.) 18% (Not on rotation)
9.) 12% (Not on rotation)
10.) 6% (now at 66% DR with 372,037 DEF post Ultra Super.)(this is factoring Big Bad Bosses)(will now die if you use active)
11.) Now maxed out at 60% DR
Essentially you have 9 turns with this character before he will lose you the run. That is pretty good all things considered.
Biggest thing too is you want this guy in slot 7 to keep him good for longer.

Honestly Phy Lr Buutenks is a pretty solid option for this team, especially to fill out the color wheel , hes still pretty good, though ofc itll mess with Cell Maxs passive, if you dont got anyone else he can still hold his own
I get what you mean about the f2p units not being voiced. Going off of this, it seems like the only f2p units that are going to be voiced going forward are Prime Battle units, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

They really made the same mistake as they did with LR PHY Roshi by ezaing him instantly (did the same with various other units, but these guys are and were genuinely top tier characters), and now he’ll be useless forever (or at least for a long while) after he ages out
