@tigercatdale A shovel road would is not be feasible in nw ontario. Come for a drive sometime and see what an 800m skid looks like. Just gotta double up and hammer down.
@couvidan No there just called tire chains. You use them all year round on this equipment or you wouldnt be able to climb 30 to 40%. They make a huge difference. Maybe try operating onefirstand than comment
wow.. way to try and make a joke into an argument... lol i know what they are, but not EVERYONE does.. most people know what a snow chain is.. and will know what i am talking about...
Yeah well I just lost a $8.22 check cutter it took us two weeks to get it out we was over there at PD in the swamps cutting they yeah I have one poplar tree standing out there and I tried to sneak over and grab it yeah you know what happened we took us two weeks to dig that thing out we had to dig it all the way to the bottom put the wood there and then I drove the cut out there when the trouble machine and grab it and pull me out by the boom I just want it right
Oh yeah I ain't talking to trash you got some good operator too but you know when you in competition or something like that we all make a little mistakes that we normally wouldn't make
What's with the stuck skidder operator sitting in the cab. I'm my company you get stuck you do all the hooking and getting dirty
He’s the boss. Lol
I've been in a lot of swamps like that here in northern Minn. You have to be careful, you can lose a machine.

@drayman619 Should have spelled dumb without the 'b' to give them the real impression that you have no idea of what you're doing.
i love tigercats.
Maritimes do it too.
he did a good job pulling that other one out and they didn't drop the hitch that was on the stuck skidder.

those are nottt "snow chains"..there are ice chains and ring chains (ringers shown here)...theres a monumental difference
"not", and "they're".
An expert that can't even spell simple words.😂
Got to love muskeg. In northern ON we know how to play in the swamp
they are called snow chains... not mud chains
