The overgrown section at the end has been taken care of! A huge thank you to both the farmer and the guys who maintain the trails - it's hard to keep up with the spring growth!
I really enjoy all the very specific infodumping in all these videos. Have I said that before? The things about locks and the history of local areas and everything. Makes me want to pay more attention to things!
Thanks! I think it’s something that’s taken a lot of walking to learn to notice? Like there’s definitely loads of interesting history about one or two areas that we walked early on that I didn’t learn about until we’d been walking a while and knew where to look to learn things
There's no real way to leave more than two comments on one video and not sound a little uhhhh deranged? So uh sorry but also not sorry bc I'm enjoying this
I can't hear the phrase "like chalk and cheese" anymore without thinking that in Japanese the phrase is 月とスッポン which is like "the moon and a soft-shelled turtle"
That’s such a harder and very specific set of differences to pick out... especially depending on how old the phrase is, and what knowledge they had of the moon ...
