Look forward each day to watching your vacay vlogs and sad to see it coming to an end in TN! You sure spent a tremendous time researching places of interest, activities, restaurants, accommodations and all the fun places! I expected you to demo the Gibsons! That Bass Pro sure was huge! I’m surprised it wasn’t more crowded. I could easily spend a couple hours there! Enjoy the last couple a days in that charming Air BnB!
You sure did cover a lot of territory on this trip. Yes to southern hospitality, no to glass floors (lol). That was a huge Bass Pro Shop, looks the size of a mall.
@@FoodFiend I've lived in Memphis all my life but have never visited the top of the pyramid, but that Bass Pro is very nice. And I'm not sure about the street names being an indicator but you do want to avoid shady looking areas, especially at night. There are some restaurants that are well known that residents visit during the daytime only. What all did you have planned for Memphis other than Graceland? A few weeks earlier and you could have experienced Memphis in May! :)
@@kenb9257 Hi Ken! I did see some shady places, but all in all everyone was so kind and warm. I really enjoyed my time in Memphis and love the old architecture. We wanted to try Dyer's Burgers, go to Beale St. and my thought process was that if I'm flying somewhere so far, I will stay a while and experience the whole state.
@@FoodFiend Dyer's is a great spot! There's one in Collierville too, a suburb of Memphis, but the original on Beale is the best. I would suggest going earlier with a young one though. I used to take my kids on Beale Saturday afternoons for live music and food and fun but at a certain time of day, the crowd turned more "adult" in clothing, language and activities lol
Nice place to stay. Seems like a nice quiet neighborhood too! Look forward to tomorrow’s adventure! Wow that was a huge Bass Pro Shop! I thought the one here in Vegas was big but no! Lol
Following your trip to TN. So cool that you travel to the mainland coming all the way from the HI. I’m in CA and don’t travel as much as you do. Your son will remember times like this. Good for you, you’re a good mom. P.S. did you forget your Boston Baseball cap. Lol.
Thanks! I like to experience different things and since it's hard to fly out international now, I figured it is a nice time to "rediscover" our own backyard. I didn't forget it! LOL I just took it off most of the time because it was so hot.
We don't have a Bass Pro shop here and no one really fresh water fishes here unfortunately. So I wouldn't know how to compare prices. However, the prices were on the similar or a bit higher side from getting your lures from Amazon. I would live there too! There is a hotel and bowling alley in there!
Depends. I could live in east TN. Homes are much older and OKC has new homes popping up constantly. I don't like HOAs. TN has the highest sales tax but doesn't tax anything else. It's a big toss up. Oh an I don't really drink hard liquor. That cigar was made to be paired with a New Holland beer. Once in a while I'll have bourbon.
I’m absolutely loving your vacation videos! Thank you for bringing us along! 😊❤️🙏🏻✝️
Thanks! I'm so glad you are enjoying them!
thats a huge bass pro shop im enjoying your tripp
Thank you!
Whoa Wow you are cruising the whole state haha! Right on!
Yes might as well explore and stay a while since it took forever to fly there. LOL
Aloha Misty, totally loving your travel videos, so much to see in TN!!!
Thanks Paula! Yes so much interesting things to do and see for sure.

Thank you Elaine. Yes two more videos and done and back to Hawaii food videos 🤣
Awesome Misty!! Man, that Bass Pro Shop is legit!!!😱
Yes that was heaven! I'd go broke if I lived there 🤣
🤣🤣

In the information section it says it's bigger than the Statue of Liberty. But in person the Statue is small to me. Yes say no to glass floors! 🤣
OMG 2ND MURDER?! YOU GO GURL!
Never knew Tennessee as a tourist attraction,Wow
Yes lots to do. Tons of tourist.

@@kenb9257 yes we went last week. It was good but I think my expectations were too high. Service was amazing though!
Hey. That is a very nice place.
You're staying at.
Yes it was!
@@FoodFiend hey. This why l love 💘 watching your videos.
Because you will rely too
Very commment I make.
Don't change.??
@@larrysac808 aw thanks. Doesn't take much time to reply to folks. So I won't change. Have a great day. 🤙

Yes it was so huge! Thanks for watching the series!
There’s no way I could go out on the side of the pyramid like that, with the glass floors! That shop was crazy big!
Yes it was huge and I didn't film all of it. It was scary but what a wonderful view!

Your son looked like he was having as much fun as “a kid in a candy …Pro Shop”!
🤣
How HUGE is that place⁉️😳
It is massive! And yes he liked to look at all the things, and enjoyed the aquarium and fake lake.
Hey, how ‘bout a Stairway To Heaven guitar solo video⁉️😃
LOL I probably can't do that. Weird thing about me is I don't care for any classic rock or that time period. I do love Queen and Rush though.
@@FoodFiend
Awww😕. Well next time you find yourself jamming on your Firebird, turn on da camera!😁
Nice. So is Graceland in a future video?
I miss Tennessee more and more with every video lol.
Yes it is!
Cute Air BnB?
Link is in the description box if you're interested.
How were the prices of lures at that Bass Pro compared to Hawaii and or other Bass Pros? I would live there if I could 🤣

Sounds like you're going to retire in Tennessee rather than Oklahoma. Couldn't blame you if you did. No cognac with that cigar?

@@FoodFiend I've been seriously trying to decide about moving East...like you said in the video, the scenery is so beautiful!
