Looks like a really good cruise, thanks for watching and for your lovely comments. I've been keeping an eye on the price of that one and its definitely a good bargain. Would have probably done this also but cannot make the date work. Have a great time and make sure you try everyone of those ice cream flavours, all delicious. Have a great cruise. 🚢🚢🚢☀☀☀🍹🍹🍹🍦🍦🍦😎🙂
Hi Sammy, thanks for watching and happy you are finding our content useful. You do not have to book any of the non signature restaurants, just turn up at any of them when they are open. At busy times you may have to wait to be seated at Latitude and Vista but you tend to learn when the quieter times are and you are never waiting long. Its a great ship, we thought the food was excellent. Have a great time. 😃
Questions- main dining rooms. what's the best time to get a table and how's the service? Is the food seasoned or bland like on P&O ( no use of salt or seasonings on P&O you had to add it yourselves) service was bad and i mean bad, cold coffee thick as tar, poor quality ingredients, bernaise sauce no tarragon, watered down hollandaise, grey tomato soup, servers couldn't lay a table properly, missing cutlery and basics. standards have really dropped on P&O. pre mixed cocktails was the last straw.
We are early eaters, we used to be out for dinner at 6.30pm, we always find the earlier you dine the quieter it is. I think you will find it gets busy between 7 and 9pm. Can't comment on very late as we have never been that late. Tables have always been well laid and we always find serving staff we love on board, stick to same tables when you dine if you like the particular serving staff at the table. You can build a better rapport and relationship with them, they learn what you like. We have always found the food well seasoned although in fairness i am not a big salt user. There are salt and pepper on tables and any condiments you need you only need to ask. Have heard so many bad things about P&O food so looking forward to cruising with them in the future to see for ourselves what it is like. Overall food on the Voyager was a class above the food on Discovery 2.
On this ship for the transatlantic repositioning in 3 weeks time . Ice cream lover so looking forward to sampling them all. Thanks for the video.
