BEFORE YOU TRY THIS:
If you're having problems with low volume, scrape the speaker cover on the outside of your phone with a toothpick and clean the dirt and grime out. I ordered a new speaker for my phone, went through this whole process, only to find the volume just as quiet as before. Then I took 10 seconds to scrape the speaker slit clean and bam, the volume was significantly louder. Don't be a dummy like me, do the easy stuff first!

Yes, this worked! It sounded very quiet with slight distortion and no bass before. A few light scrapes with a toothpick and now it's much better! Thanks.

I just tried this and it is much better. Debating when the speaker replacement comes in to try this. Being hard of hearing, though it is much better scraping out with toothpick made a difference!

The same thing happened to me when I changed the screen. I have changed many screens but I don't know why the speaker stopped listening, I have even changed it for a new one and it is still the same. Any solution?
