When I first heard of the YoungTurks I was frightened because they have the name of the group that committed the Armenian genocide.
Yeah they are just communists that agree with killing over 600k, with unproprtionate black babies, babies a year.

P.S. As you may find out if you watch/listen to anything with Dave and Milo, Dave is indeed homosexual (and married actually) despite it not being obviously apparent at all really.

I'm just saying....
I felt Cenk didn't want a real debate. He didn't want the truth and researched facts to come out so he distracted with childish retorts and pokes. Maybe he has the real truth of our convoluted history and it doesn't fit his narrative or he has confidence the audience has never been taught it so he blocks it from being heard. I don't understand why he can't just debate on the merits of the truth and the real happenings in our history with intellectual honesty and in full context. Hiding truth and manipulating the past is aiding to destroying our country. We can't make decisions without all the information in full and in truth. So disturbing and angering.

And then Cenk made the point you haven't watched all my shows, does that mean that you (Dinesh) can't comment on them or my positions? The obvious answer is one does not need to consume everything the other person has ever done in order to debate them especially when they are literally sharing a stage. How did you miss that?
@@VanNguyen-dt6mo The reason that's not a valid comparison is because Dinesh hasn't commented on his shows, that's his whole point. If Dinesh had been talking about Cenk's work, and was quoting it inaccurately, Cenk would have every right to call him out on it, but Dinesh is smart enough not to do that.
Cenk tried to make an argument about Dinesh's book on Obama, by saying that it was pushing the racist stereotype of angry, raging black men, when if Cenk had actually read his book, he'd know that's not the case. Dinesh is saying that Cenk should've probably read the book, before making an entire argument based on the title of a book he'd not read. It's a valid criticism of Cenk, and a criticism that Dinesh is not guilty of.

Super Man There are some absolutely incredible strawman arguments toward the end. I used to watch TYT regularly, I didn't always agree with them but I thought they made some reasonable points, Cenk seemed like he was trying to see things from the other side occasionally.
I see increasingly fewer times where they conduct themselves with poise and integrity however. Instead their conduct has become worse and worse, driving away those of rational thought and as a result the only 'fans' they have left are the mindless drones Cenk referred to as the 'TYT Army'

Legal rights for a corporation is not the only answer to solve that issue. There could of been an regulation or inside corporation decision to have certain shareholders representing the corporation during legal deputes as well as internal decisions for which lawyers would be representing him/her during those types of dispute.

Agree or disagree with Dinesh, he was polite and respectful throughout this debate. He has done a lot of research and it showed. Cenk, on the other hand, clearly hadn't done any research prior and I have suspicions he went into this debate with zero notes. It showed. Anytime Dinesh asked him a question in history Cenk dodged the question because he didn't know. Cenk kept spewing assumptions and repeating popular narratives but never backing it up with evidence. Dinesh was a true scholar, Cenk came off as someone who came into the debate trying to remember everything he learned in Grade 12 history class. This is why he was louder and reduced his arguments to personal attacks on Dinesh. He had no counter-argument so he tried to put Dinesh on the defensive by slandering him. The true Young Turks would not be proud of Cenk's behaviour.

I am not a concervative or Trump supporter, but Dinesh clearly won this debate and seems much more articulate and intelligent that Cenk. Cenk behaves in an obnoxious and immature way most of the debate.
I have to disagree. I think Cenk won the debate, hands down. Staying seemingly calm (which Dinesh didn't do, as he insulted Cenk on several occasions, as early in the debate as 17:40 and completely unprovoked I might add) isn't what wins you a debate, it's who counters the other person's points the best, and Cenk obviously did this better.

Where were the personal attacks? The only thing coming close was bringing up the hypocrisy of Dinesh calling Clinton a crook when he just served an 8 month sentence and is currently on probation for the next 5 years. He didn't personally attack Dinesh on any other occasion, and on this one, he was perfectly justified in doing so. You will, however, notice Dinesh call TYT watchers "goons" and call Cenk "stupid" on several occasions.

Dinesh is completely trapped in the left vs right paradigm. He thinks attacking the Democratic Party is a solution. Cenk argues for morality today, regardless of party. People who fall into the left vs right paradigm are victims of propaganda 101. I think dinesh made some good points, but he’s never getting at legitimate, real solutions for today. He’s very out of touch. Cenk has no interest in arguing in favor of Hillary Clinton like dinesh assumes he would. His points about Obama doubling the national debt are especially egregious. Obama inherited control of the country right as Bush’s 8-year run ended when his policies led to a massive stock market crash. Obama isn’t perfect, but dinesh’s logic is just asinine.

The fact that debt is now double that of 8 years ago clearly shows that whoever was in charge during the past 8 years had lost control of the budget and has overspent the country's money, thus bringing the debt up by over 100%. And deficit is totally within the control of the person-in-charge in those 8 years.
Do you know the difference? You can't change the deficit overnight, and the deficit was very high when Obama took over. i.e. the government was spending much more than was receiving.

Blacks were brought here and purchased, so what is there to be happy about. The strongest of their race was brought here because only the strongest survived and only those who looked like they could work were bought. I don't think it's justifying slavery, I don't even think it's that great of a point, but I saw Cenk unable to grasp the concept. also, the tribal leaders of Africa were the ones who captured and sold slaves, they were the leaders of their communities most of the time. less than 1 in 10 slaves sold between 1500-1800 were brought to America, most went to Africa, Caribbean, and Arab world, and most were killed. so if being killed or living in modern Sierra Leone are the alternatives, living in modern America is the best option.

Citing his totally relevant criminal history and pointing out illegitimacies in his book is not only a totally acceptable attack on Dinesh' ethos as a debater but entirely relevant to the conversation. If debating was about who can talk louder, throw the most insults, and completely ignore what someone is actually saying than Cenk won this debate... However that is not what a debate is. A debate is clearly representing your view and explaining why it is right, while listening to the other person and then explaining why their view is at a fault. In that sense Dinesh was clearly the superior I this discussion. That is when he wasn't being continually interrupted with idiotic comments that were way out of perspective. His analogy at the end about the ladder vs the rope was very well put and was probably the best part of the entire event. Blows my mind that Cenk actually compared Dinesh's illegal act to Hillary's corruption. Especially AFTER he said that Dinesh just made a stupid decision. And then he says that Dinesh is the last person that should comment on the corruption of Hillary Clinton because he spent time in Jail for INEPTITUDE!!! not for corruption. So, yes Cenk, Dinesh is completely justified in commenting and analyzing Clintons corruption.
The point isn’t that Hillary isn’t a crook. It’s just ironic and hilarious that he spent time in jail for campaign finance violations, but calls someone else a crook.
